  1. broken front CV joints?

Never did, and the more I looked into it, the more confused I got. I also cross checked the axles on my truck (2019 XL with tow package) with the axles on a 2021 and a 2022 tremor, both with tow package, and they all looked the same, so I'm assuming I already have the "better" ones. with...
  2. CrashPad fun

oh, also, they are called swags, because the idea started out with the "swagmen" that would travel around australia from job to job. They would carry everything in their bed roll, which they called a swag - the bedroll eventually evolved to also be a tent, but the idea stays the same that you...
  3. CrashPad fun

cool. Hope the crash pad is working well for you. It's awesome to finally see swags becoming more common in the US.

  5. Colorado FS: 5 star tuner and tunes $400obo

oof, just checked on the transfer fee. It's $200... Selling because I didn't really find a benefit over stock. I was really just hoping for better mpg with the 85 tune, but didn't notice that, I just got tired of fiddling with it. I'm sure the higher end tunes are great for people looking for...
  6. Colorado Sold: FS: 5 star tuner and tunes $400obo

Selling my 5 star tuning tuner thing. It has 3 tunes on it, the 85 tow, 91 tow, and 91 performance. comes with OBD2 cable. pick up in CO, west Denver area or I will ship. $400obo
  7. BDS rear shackle lift

yep I've been happy with them. I ended up using an add-a-leaf as well to handle extra weight a little better, but if you're not loading up your truck a ton the shackles alone are great for a little extra height and more axle travel.
  8. FEEDBACK REQUESTED: Car camping (or overlanding) rack options

also, just a little opinion for the OP. RTT are cool, but I pretty quickly learned that they're more of a pain in the ass than they're worth. Not just the fact that you're killing your mpg and the drivability and versatility of your truck, but also actually using them. The fold up ones can...

  11. New Roof Rack Coming

Agreed, you don't have to reinvent the wheel every time you want to sell a new product. Looks like a nice rack. Do you have a link to their website or where to buy? or approximate price?
  12. 4LO Shift Pattern

Yep, shifts tend to feel pretty firm when you're in low range.
  13. Seat Cover Options

I have saddleman covers on mine. They're not exactly fast or cheap, but quality and fitment is excellent. Made to order in USA, and they have no branding or labels on them at all, which is kind of cool. I got the "ballistic" material, and it's been surprisingly good in the heat so far, though...

  17. Borne Off-Road Snorkel R&D Thread

Yeah, that part mounts inside the door jamb too though, so definitely not as bad as drilling into the outside of the pillar.
  18. Borne Off-Road Snorkel R&D Thread

cool thing with the mishimoto snorkel is that you don't really have to drill/cut any holes on the outside of your truck.
  19. Pizza Cutters

I haven't touched my crash bars, though I also haven't flexed my truck out yet with the bigger tires. I'm pretty confident it will clear though
