two of my dealers ordered rangers moved up on their production date and now have window stickers available for view. really keeping the fingers crossed that things at the factory are starting to get better?!?!?!
this web site can be used to view the window sticker once the factory puts it in...
For those that wish to read ahead while we wait for the real one to be delivered with our truck...

Hopefully the spray in bed liner hurdle has been fixed now and they get a little quicker about finishing the Rangers. I also got that option, but my build is not even supposed to go down until March 11th. Hope you all ahead of me start seeing the trickle turn to a steady flow!!!
@Geoff they sure are not, only in the computer, the factory builds according to what hey have the lines setup for that day. Not to mention that I have learned they factory has a whole slew of subassembly sections that preproduce things like the body, and chassis so there is no way to really...
I am just hoping that the speed bumps get ironed out so the factory can reach capacity. Maybe the Ranger can knock the Taco off of the #1 spot in the midsize world.
No your thinking is correct, the VIN is produced by the computer and all components are gathered based off of the VIN, but apparently the supply chain for some components has caused some of the lower VINs to be delayed so it is a situation where we cannot determine the rhyme or reason since we...
Continuing, as explained by my dealer once the vehicle has been built in the manufacture's ordering system the VIN is built by the computer system and submitted to the factory which in turn signals the entire automated logistic supply chain of what components are needed and on what date so they...
My understanding as explained by my dealer is that the VIN is fully created when it is assigned to the plant. The last 6 digits which for the Ranger is a A##### is the numerical count of vehicles assigned to the plant and once it goes past 99999 the A becomes a B so B00001 would be number...
So in theory at 33% increase from 400 a day it becomes 532 which is roughly 2660 a week and 10640 a month, IN THEORY? On top of what they have already built and shipped and my last 5 digits are 24147 so March might still be realistic as long as the train cars are available. Anyways keeping...
At this time I will take the 33%increase, but I suspect it is more a case of short parts from the global supply chain that is really the biggest reason why things are going at a turtle pace. Thank you for the information.
Not sure if I missed the answer but does anyone know if the overtime shifts at the Wayne plant are having any effect on speeding things up? Also has anyone heard about a shortage of certain components at the Wayne plant and how that is going to effect the time line as well? I have done some...
Oh Boy I am just as perplexed as everyone else with the vehicle tracking system...my Ranger has a (check) in the processing dot, no checks in any of the other dots but an estimated delivery date of 3/31/2019. I know from my dealer's spread sheet that it is scheduled for the 03/11 week like a...
Again for anyone that may have missed the news, Ford is going to massive overtime in February at the Wayne plant...really hope that moves all of our orders up!!! Fingers and toes crossed!!
Some of the dates are all over the place but I am guessing that is because of the amount of orders that may have been received on certain business days and the time to process them if all of the requirements where meet. Also the delivery dates are going to vary a lot based on distance from the...
Ordered mine 12/18, Scheduled date 03/11, Lariat Crew Cab 4x4, hope that the scheduled date might move up since overtime is being scheduled for February, fingers crossed
