Does anyone know the overall length of sliders for the supercrew? I was thinking of buying a pre-fabbed slider and then welding my own posts etc.
Anyone know how long the schrockworks sliders are?
Where are you located? I have 4x of the exact same wheels and tires located in San Diego. Getting ready to post them today. Only 20k miles on the tires they have good life left.
I have front and rear weathertech no drill mudflaps for sale. Never been mounted, still in original box with hardware. Looking to get $50 picked up in San Diego. Could be willing to ship at buyers expense.
2011 E90 BMW 335i (Full Bolt On - 22psi of Boost)
2003 Tacoma Double Cab
The Tacoma I was happy to get rid of as it had some rust and was going to be a nightmare if I ever wanted to off-road it.
I miss the heck out of the E90, however. One of my favorite cars I have owned. Absolute money pit...
Thank you! I looked for a while at many different sets of flares. I was torn between the Bushwacker OE flares and the RTR. Ended up going with the RTR because of the ease of install, and they have the front bumper caps that make the nice smooth transition. Really happy with them so far.
I hope...
Anyone made it through the squeeze in their Ranger? I know this is a big time jeep trail and the wranglers are about 5" narrower than our Rangers. Anyone ever done it?
Installed the RTR flares a couple weekends back but for some reason didn’t snap pics. Cleaned the truck up after a weekend exploring in big bear with my wife and took a few. Install was easy, here is how they look installed:
Also a couple of pics and a video from the weekend. Took forever...
The reason it was so hard to get your lower control arm back up to reconnect the UCA is because your CV tripod bearing likely fell out of the inner housing when you dropped the lower arm. Picture the left portion (outer CV) of the picture below moving to the left as your LCA drops. This pulls...
Chemical Guys woolly mammoth for exterior drying - they're insane. I can basically dry my entire truck with one. Costco pack of the yellow microfibers for all of my interior detailing/wipe down needs.
"Way too much" is pretty subjective. Like I said I have RTR fenders going on and my paint is fine.
Not sure why value was brought into the equation, but value to me is getting the wheel that I want with the look that I want, fitting the tire that I want. Again, very subjective.
I will repeat...
Just buy wheels with your desired offset.
I am running Methods with +0 offset. The "poke" is nothing crazy and imo looks aggressive but clean, my tires stick out about an inch or so from the fender.
As others have said, you will want to get some fenders to protect your paint. I have a set of...
Very fair point. I would err on the side of caution as well, and personally never go bags if I was doing any off-roading. Too much risk for me for no performance gain other than leveling a load.
I should update and say "probably" be fine
One important question is how heavy of off-roading do you do? If you are just overlanding and riding fire roads/light trails, bags will be fine.
If you want to do anything moderate to heavy, bags would be a big downgrade and leafs would be the way to go. You would also have to probably run some...
What about a walnut blast for the valves? I know DI engines sometimes have issues with carbon buildup due to oil blow by. I haven't see much on this and what a set of valves looks like after 100k on our engines yet, just the catch can vs no catch can discussion.
This was super popular as...
Build has been dead for a while, but I just got an in-stock notification yesterday from RTR that their fender flares were back in stock! Picked up a set of them as fast as I could click 'buy'. Can't wait to get them in and put them on!
