Old thread, but I'm currently on a similar search, but decided to go the pop-up route. There was a video or thread where they showed how much of a hit in gas mileage with it over the cab. A pop-up can be kept down and only pop-up'd when needed. Even the homemade ones pop-up in minutes.

Old thread, but I was searching this very topic. I was thinking of having a second camera mounted on the camper and just unplug the tailgate one and plug in the new compatible one. Anyone done this or something similar?

I win! I've washed my truck twice since I brought it home Christmas 2022. A year and 5 months ago. But then again, I only have 3000 miles on mine so far.

Things have been just great with my Ranger and haven't poked my head in here for some time. But I have bumped the 4WD knob twice and came here to search for a thread on it. Yep, stupid design.

My base model aluminum one was $979. Seems really high priced, but so many things are way more expensive than they were only a few years ago.

I bought mine from Canopy Corner. As far back as I remember. Where I grew up in California and where I live now in Oregon, I've always called them truck canopies.

I went to a local place called Canopy Corner. I went there to order an aluminum ARE, but they talked me into this one. Royell or Royale or something like that.

I was originally going to get a classy fiberglass one with the rise in the roof. But I decided to save money. And this way it'll be easier to take off and put back on being it's a lot lighter than fiberglass.

Absolutely ironic timing. They told me 4 weeks and it got here in a little over 2 weeks.

Going camping this weekend and my canopy isn't in yet. So I made this funky plywood cover to somewhat protect my stuff. :)

Just happened to me today. At a certain point of the door being opened it actually felt like it swung itself the rest of the way open by itself. Argh! Not to mention the metal on these rangers is the thinnest I've ever seen.

I forgot all about that Friday & Monday truck stuff. That was something I used to always check.
