I tow a similar weight travel trailer, 24 foot long and about 5000 gross weight. I absolutely recommend a WDH as a necessity. I use the Fastway Products E2 Equalizer round bar, 8000 lb rating. It's more than I need but it does very well in keeping the truck level, no sagging, no hitting the...
Sorry, asleep at the wheel this morning... No rear rotors? That's just great. My brakes have a slight shudder to them under load, feels like a warped rotor to me. I have 34k miles.
I had the same experience, having the mirrors fold back every time a big truck would pass by going the other way. I gave up on the tow mirrors and just use the standard ones. Besides, my trailer is wider than the truck so the additional mirrors didn't help that much.
those are the style I have too. they basically did the job, but on two lane roads when a semi would pass going the other way, the mirror on driver's side kept folding in from the air pressure. Not ideal.
I got tired of waiting for the wifi method so I tried the USB stick method. It worked but failed to create an output file that tells Ford you've updated. Oh well. No problems with the update so far.
I tow a travel trailer, 24 feet long, approximately 5000 pounds fully loaded. Have a 2020 Lariat Supercrew. It pulls the weight fine especially in tow/haul mode. The wind tends to push the trailer around, which you feel in the truck. I use a weight distribution hitch. I think this size...
Well I called BakFlip and it turns out that the 2020 Ranger needs some additional pieces to install the MX4. After reviewing the instructions they emailed me it was obvious that this extra stuff is needed. They sent the parts out today. Very good customer service.
I'm in the middle of installing my MX4 BakFlip. The clamps for the rails just aren't long enough to get a good grip on the bed rail. Guess I'll be calling tech support.
I gave up my 92 F-250 XLT with the 460 V8. But I gained four wheel drive and get twice the gas mileage of the old truck. I do miss the twin gas tanks though, the Ranger tank is too small, especially if you're towing.
