I plan on having my tune installed by a Ford Dealer or ASE certified mechanic. I will just run the cable myself if I decide to go this route. But, I don't think I will route the cable and use the ProCal4 since the display/interface for the on-road data stinks.

Yeah this is becoming apparent. I thought the interface on the ProCal4 was much better, but the feedback I have received is that it essentially sucks. I originally wanted to mount it to have data available without using my phone.

Yikes, that is terrible. So the actual module itself is just a scanning tool with a pre-loaded flash. Once "installed" aka flashed, it seems like most people unplug the OBDII cable and store it away. I could just run the cable and everything on my own and mount it. Appreciate the insight!

Seems pretty cheap to me. A ceramic coating out here in CA with a good clay and wash before would be in the $700-$1000 range depending on the company and products they are using.
