    285/70/17 (32.7x11.2) seems to be the going max recommended with => 2.5” lift without rubbing. Adding an inch of width (305mm) may be a bit much, even with a 0 offset wheel. There are some examples of Rangers with tire, lift, and resulting stance and any report of rubbing in this gallery.

    Anybody tried or know of anyone running anything bigger than 33’s (i.e. 285/75/17) with the offset intrusion bars like those by Fabtech or Pro Comp? Perhaps, with a level or =< 3” lift?

    Seems like running 35’s would be a bit much. Vertically, you might clear the extra ~2” tire between hub and top of fender. But horizontally speaking, you’re stuffing an extra ~4” (over the stock 31’s) between crash bars known only to accommodate up to 33” tires on rims with the proper width...
