Same here. I may change mine also to ensure better water sealing. I had to tie light fishing line through the washers to prevent dropping them between the bed and cab. Even with the seal pushed as high as it will go I can see a gap that light shines thru between the seal and the cover.
Thanks for posting about the sale. I was planning to order Napier 57066 for my 5 foot bed from Amazon and you saved me almost $100.
Reviews were good except for some wrong pole lengths causing broken fiberglass poles that several people had reported . I hope that problem got fixed.
Can you give me more details? I was wondering what tire you used and whether you needed a lift or level to avoid rubbing. Any info you can provide would be great. How do you like the tires you used both off-road and highway? Thanks
They are on Ebay for $1050 with TPMS shipped.

I like them and am tempted. What tires would you use with these for occasional off-road with no...
Same experience here so I'm leaning in that direction. While searching I found the Ford Performance Raptor wheels on Ebay for $1050 with TPMS shipped...
Thanks to this thread I took a closer look at my spare today. I was thinking of getting a matching 18" wheel and mounting the spare tire along with a TPMS on it. I wanted to be able to do five tire rotations and be able just swap if I get a flat or have a blow-out. I now have 4-DynaPro ATM...
I think the FX4 package is a good deal for its cost. Add the running boards of your choice later. I'm not having much luck with getting my running boards thru Ford Parts so may be going aftermarket.
Spending a little more on fuel makes more sense to me than large amounts of cash on tuners or low impact performance parts unless I was racing my truck and tenths of a second count. Will try some higher octane gas. Thanks.
Thanks for the info. Does the engine adjust the PI limits with higher octane fuel and have an impact on lag during acceleration from lower RPMs? I have used sport mode a bit but didn't really pay attention to this aspect of the performance characteristics. Will check it out to see if I like...
I'm interested in them too but worry that they may be too confining in my Ranger short bed. Less than 4ft wide between the wheel wells for two people Should be fine for one person and much cheaper than an RTT.
My Lariat came without them and no Runningboards. My 05 Ranger came with both and I think they made a major difference in keeping the body and cab in good shape. As part of the deal the dealer agreed to add them at cost to my Larait. Waiting to weeks and both are still not in so I guess they...
My Ranger is the first vehicle I have owned with a turbo. I'm not interested in a tune but the turbo lag sort of irritates me in slow-down/speed-up traffic. The new Ranger is great from a stop. What do you Ford Engineering guys think about the GO FAST BITS diverter valve? Any negative...

I had to drive in heavy rain yesterday for about 1/2 hour. Only had a small toolbox in the bed. Water entered the bed in all four corners. It wasn't a flood but anything in the front of the bed against the bulkhead would have been wet. Water also entered around the rubber flap on...
I'm going with a plain carbon fiber look. Too many Ranger logos already on the truck; grill, tailgate, floor mats, dash, front seats, tonneau, bed mat. I think everyone will know its a Ranger. It can be overdone.
I guess the drop-in liner causes some additional problems but the assembly ends up being about the same. Try using some bolts about a 1/4" longer than the provided screws. You may have to experiment with some different lengths to find the right combination that works to allow you the get a...
I installed my OEM Ford / Truxport tonneau yesterday with pretty much the same experience as yours. It is much more sturdy than the one I had on my old Ranger and that one has held up well for many years and didn't leak.
I have Line-X on my bed so I decided to use the bulkhead rail that you...
I've only had my FX4 Super Crew for a couple of weeks and bought it to be my main driver. I am very happy with the ride and when comparing it to my 05 Ranger Edge, I find it much smoother and quieter on rough roads. I did not test drive a Colorado before buying my new Ranger.
If you test...
