I’m running Squatch wheels on my 21 XLT and they are sweet. The offset gives just enough poke so they don’t look like roller skates and there’s not many people running them on Rangers. I got em off Craigslist brand new takeoffs for $900 for 5 and the fifth went under the truck in the spare no...
Has anyone seen this issue happen and gotten it covered under warranty? Truck is a 2021 with 18k miles.
Any risk with just leaving it? I am sure they will just use Safelite or someone similar to put in an aftermarket windshield.
I had the 265/65/17 on my FX4. I had vibration at 1200 rpm especially going uphill. Every time. I went to 265/70/17’s and the vibration was still there. I wouldn’t bother with new wheels. You want to spend $1000 go buy the single piece drive shaft from Tom Woods
Here’s the install completed. I installed the lights up front and ran the wire through the grommet in the firewall and followed the main wiring harness across the fuse box panel below the steering wheel and snaked the wires behind the dash and through the duct. You can’t see the wiring at all...
What are the off road trails like? I got the BFG KO2 in C which are 6 ply. The truck trail I did last weekend had tons of exposed rocks from runoff and I had no problems. An SL I would have been much more worried about a puncture. But if I was just running fire roads an SL may be more than enough
I couldn’t take the noise at highway speeds. Maybe my buddy didn’t put his hardtop on right but I could feel the wind coming through when I last rode in it.
Mine did the same thing. I’m still under warranty and it didn’t occur to me to get it replaced. Regardless, I took a propane torch and turned the flame all the way down and ran it down the length of the trim and it looks brand new. Took less than a minute each side. You can search YouTube to see...
I tried 5 minute epoxy colored with a bit of red food coloring. It was too difficult to tape it off and get good contact and not have it look a mess. I scraped it all off before it set and then sanded back the mess and rounded the chipped edges so it may minimize something else catching and...
I looked at those Roush Wheels too. I saw them on a truck and I like these better. The Roush are a +25 so you’d get about a 1/4” more poke than these.
I’m running 265/70/17 on mine so it’s 32ish and now that they aren’t tucked in so much they look fine to me. My next set will be 285’s
I just installed some floods 2x2 in that same area. Instead of a grommet punch, I used a wire coat hanger and pushed it through the grommet from the I side. I went to the left of the hood release cable as a diagram I found showed there is a channel there with enough clearance for additional...
