ya, the only problem with textured is when they get scratched up you can’t rattle can it to look the same. Once these get scratched up it’s an easy fix.
Just got mine today. Took about an hour and half to install because the directions aren’t very detailed. But finally figured it out. I think they look great and seem very stout!
Sometimes it doesn’t fix what it’s supposed to. Big deal.I’d much rather have a blower problem then a head gasket problem like Ford did with the Focus RS. Your crying over a blower motor is duly noted.
The worst situation being smoke??? Man, I don’t know if you people expect perfect vehicles or what but there’s never been a vehicle that hasn’t needed a recall, service bulletin, or fix at some point. Vehicles are complex and there’s bound to be things wrong. The worst thing Ford could do is...
Um, you did read it hasn’t caused any accidents, fires, or injuries right?? It’s a blower recal big deal. You do realize you have a better chance of getting in a accident on your daily drive and blowing up the truck then the blower catching on fire right??Take a chill pill and everything will be...
It is a simple recall. Only two months affected and has nothing to do with engine or tranny. Maybe you should get a Tacoma or Tundra with there 2.3 million vehicle recall.
ha ha really?? If your off roading you will hit them all the time. Now if your driving 10mph you won’t utilize them at all. But if you spend 1500 on a suspension system I’m assuming you want to off-road and not mall crawl. Why is this news to everyone ha ha?
ya, sounds like something that won’t happen often. Just gotta be careful to clean the vehicle after a good storm. And yes we get a few good blizzards here in ABQ every year and especially if we go up to the Mountains. Kinda like Denver but lasts a little longer for you guys.
So do you have a hole in your paint?? I think it would be extremely rare for that to happen and would have to be left like that for some time. Like I said before ice can build up anywhere so I wouldn’t call that a disadvantage to sliders.
not sure that’s much of a concern even if you do live in cold weather. Your sensors will be covered in ice before the sliders are. Not to mention the rest of your vehicles being covered in ice.
For some reason I thought it was a foam composite but it’s a Microcellular polyurethane. Anyways still not cheap but more affordable then hydraulic to all four corners. Here’s the link to the speedbumps.

Hydraulic bump stops make you feel like your riding on a cushion. But too rich for my blood. When I had a Wrangler Teraflex made a foam bumpstop in a can. Way cheaper then hydraulic and I was super impressed with the ride quality combined with 2.0 shocks.
