I looked at my spark plugs today, they look good, no rust or water anywhere.
I want to order a engine cover but I don't know if it comes with nuts and bolts.
No where in the Ford parts description does it mention what it comes with .
2019 Ranger XLT , 52,000 miles
Thanks
Every once in a while when our 2019 is started after sitting overnight, it feels like something is spinning up to speed as soon as it starts.
Can the torque converter drain itself overnight? It feels like maybe the torque converter fills and "engages", all this while still in park, it only...
I went with Michelins , amazing difference.
Quieter and much better ride.
Went from 255/65-17 to 265/65-17 , not much bigger but they do fill up the wheel wells a little more.
OP, Eibach rear shocks cured my 2019.
Next is new tires, Michelin or Firestone H/T, my factory Bridgestones ride rough.
EDIT: 1/19/2022 - Got new Michelins today, much nicer ride than the stock Bridgestones!
The combination of Eibach rear shocks and Michelins turned my truck into a normal...
I'm curious how many combinations of springs - shocks - tires came from the factory ?
I think it's funny that people think all trucks ride like theirs.
You have never drove my truck.
I might be happy with your truck and I know you wouldn't like mine.
Eibach shocks on the rear cured my 2019.
Truck is all stock, including wheels & tires. 27,000 miles.
Tire pressure is between 30-32 pounds.
I will turn off the lane keep assist and see what that does.
My 2019 steering seems a little too fast at highway speeds.
If you are not careful it can feel like you just yanked the steering wheel one way when changing lanes.
Anyone else have this problem? It's fine at lower speeds.
Is the electric steering adjustable?
Thanks
Body roll, or more like body lurch. Throws your upper body around. Worst slow speed ride I have ever owned. I lowered the tires to 30 psi and when I have 500 plus pounds in the bed it rides much better , I have driven only trucks since the 70's. Mostly F250's . Next is replace the rear shocks.
I don't know how empty the tank was, I usually don't go below 1/4 very much.
I'm a boomer so I need a stretch well before the tank goes empty.
Today we checked MPG once and it was right at 26 , more turns and it was a secondary highway , Pendelton Oregon to Oroville WA, not a multi...
27.5 MPG, hand figured , 70-75 mph all highway driving, for a 321 mile stretch between fuel ups.
450 lbs in the back. 2 adults.
Back flip hard tonneau cover.
Really liking the engine transmission combo.
You hardly feel it down shift and the engine is never revving fast while kicking down on...
What do the shims look like? I just received my MX4 and I see no shims for the clamps? Are they metal? I see the rubber shim strips for the brackets. But I see nothing that looks like they would work for the clamps? Thanks!
I looked at Tacoma, Colorado ZR1 and Ranger XLT .
I am not brand loyal.
The Tacoma was not even a consideration after I sat in one .
I liked the Colorado a lot but the local dealers had low incentives and not many in stock to choose from.
The 302A seats helped sell me on the Ranger. A very nice...
