Thanks again. I checked out that link for the connector and there are 2 options. 1.1-1.6mm insulation or 1.8-2mm insulation. both are 22-20 awg and I'm not sure if it makes a difference. I suppose it depends on the wire I use. I hate to sound ignorant on this but where is a good place to buy...
Thanks, I read your post previously in my searches. I'd prefer to not tap into any of the factory wiring for this. Do you know which of the wires coming out of the connector is ground? Do you know how to remove the wires from the factory connector so I can make my own wiring harness with the...
Alright, I got my Lariat visors w/Homelink in the mail the other day from LKQ. They were kinda dirty/mildewed but they cleaned up nice with just water and a little magic eraser action. Now for my question. I plan on wiring these up to an ignition fused source from the fuse box on a dedicated...
But the tremor comes with a tire size that is known to fit on a regular Ranger without any clearance issues. To my eyes however the Tremor sits "differently" than a leveled Ranger on 265/70/17's and I think its because of a slightly wider stance.
Just to clarify, are you saying that if you have non-folding headrests, the "fix" is to replace them with foldable ones? My 2020 came with the foldable ones but there is no button to fold them. There's a hack to install a wooden dowel in the button hole and voila! Foldable headrests.
Living in Florida there isn't much use for it. But I found one, a week after I bought my truck. I took it to the beach which is one of the few in the state that allows beach driving. There is a 10mph speed limit and 4x4 is required. TC works perfectly in this scenario and kept me from bogging...
I would be pissed if I had homelink in the Ranger and it worked that way. In every other car I've had it in it only works with the key in the ignition. Otherwise why even have it instead of a clip on opener?
Did you run the wire directly to the fuse box? I've heard there is wiring near the...
It sounds like you know more about this than I do. All I've ever connected to my Ranger is an iphone. I've never had any sort of Waze connectivity on the screen. I can use bluetooth and get waze sound notifications just like I can get any other bluetooth audio. Can you expand on what waze...
So I guess I'll add that I also got the notice of a sync update, but I have the baby stereo with the smaller screen. I've gotten notified of several updates in the past year, but the only change I've ever noticed was that Waze was removed from the compatible app list (it never worked on the...
Welcome! Great choice on the SCAB. I really enjoy the 6 foot bed. You have a wonderful blank slate to start with!
Edit: Judging by the tires you got the FX4 package? If so that's what I have too and I feel that it has the perfect combo of stuff I need and no fluff. Just right IMO.
Wolfhaus Offroad uses that hole for the 12v power, but I'm not sure what the factory intended. In general, the bed of the Ranger is the biggest disappointment when compared to the competition. There is zero innovation. Not even cutouts for some wood planks or anything. No track system. No...
The Tremor wheels and the "Raptor"/Ford Performance wheels are different colors. Tremor wheels are more gray and Raptor wheels are more black, but called "dyno gray".
I wish I had some Ranger input, but I had Whiteknuckle sliders on my Jeep JK and they were fantastic quality. I got them in bare steel and used Rustoleum on them for easy touch ups. I don't do any rock crawling in the Ranger, but part of me wants sliders anyway as they are fantastic for...
I think either way will look good, and it's a whole lot easier to just leave it as it is. It will still match your fog light surrounds and probably the lower bumper area too. No one but you will ever notice a difference anyway. I actually have the grill on order. I was on the fence but it looks...
