What options did you order to end up with B&O on your XLT? I don't have mine yet and I hope I ordered correctly. I may still have time to make a change.
Nice. Still waiting for my HP Red truck.
I was considering a roof top tent but may go the same way you did. Is your tent comfortable for 2 people? Manufacturer and model?
Thanks for posting the PDI form. I've been looking for it but never found a copy. Now, when my truck comes in, I'll be able to tell if it was done and maybe how well.
Did your dealer give you a copy of the completed form?
I thought I ordered but my dealer actually ordered my HP. Red XLT for inventory. It turned out that they did me a favor. I will now qualify for the May $1000 offer if it comes in on time. They said they can close the sale if the offer isn't extended into July or isn't improved. All I lose is...
This discussion has me curious about whether the functions and their Forscan data are consistent between different vehicles and models. Have you looked for that in your various spreadsheets?
I have had a similar experience. Over the 55 years of changing my own oil on 14 vehicles, close to 100 times, foreign and domestic including Ford, I have had to replace one washer because of damage.
In all that time, I never had a drain plug or filter leak except for once when I had no...
I hope so because I ordered it mostly for the adaptive cruise control and navigation. Also, $900 over the 10 years I'll probably keep the truck is no big deal. It may also help resale if I decide not to keep it that long.
As already mentioned, you can always ask for a discount after telling...
With all the possible causes, is shimming the spring on one side really an acceptable fix? It seems to me that it's just a cheap way for the manufacturer to get by until the warranty period expires. I just hope mine is delivered level so I don't have to fight with Ford.
I agree; have you found an accurate one?
I have always kept a mechanical tire gage in my cars. I've had TPMS sensors fail on the interstate in two vehicles. With the Corvette it was one of those oh crap moments. I better get off the road now or I'll be losing a $300 run-flat. Replacing the...
Thanks Ford, that's comforting. I guess it's a good thing I use a separate gage too. Now all I need is to find one that's more accurate.
I just downloaded the manual. Might as well start reading it while I impatiently await the arrival of my Ranger. Probably another 8 weeks or so.
Interesting article. A little difficult to do so I hope the tire manufacturers do the work for me before I decided to change tires. I guess the Ford recommendations for the various tires supplied with the Ranger would be a good starting point for the experiment. Thanks.
This discussion is very interesting but brings up a couple of questions in my mind, assuming tire pressure is really this critical
Since the recommended pressures seem to be tire size and manufacturer specific for the vehicle loading. How does one decided where to set the normal pressures...
I can't recall where I saw it but one of the lift kit supplier's instructions said to remove the thru bolt and just slide it out of the frame tube. Has anyone done this? I don't have my Ranger yet to try it myself but plan to install a kit when I get the truck.
It's probably computer entered data but I was hoping someone had already found something on the internet. I spent an hour searching but found nothing specific to Ford trucks or Rangers..
