  1. Ford Explorer Question

That's fair and a step above my self-determination as: decrepit! =D
  2. Key Jams In Door

I have the 101A package with remote mirrors. But, and I thought this was prior to 2022s, there wete versions with keyed passenger door and akeyed tailgate. I have neither and I only have only one auto window and no rear window defroster.

  6. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

Very astute, sir! =D Yep, after 21 years, I became an old fart redundant! =D My work laid off 4% of its workforce and we were offered "voluntary separation." Yikes! The choice was: 1) Take your chances and, if you get canned, get 4 weeks pay, OR 2) Get 4 weeks pay plus 21 weeks (for my 21...
  7. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

LOL, did two small dump runs yesterday - 4 old bikes and an old Weber. Gonna bring a few bags of sticks and twigs that came down after a wind storm today. I just met our new neighbors yesterday and I was excited to tell him about two "free" perks our town has. The first is free boat ramp...
  8. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

Lines? Lines!?! We don't need no stinkin' lines!
  9. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

Only thing better than a Race Red Ford Ranger? Two Race Red Ford Rangers! =D Bonus for SCABs!!! =p
  10. Did the FX4 suspension change??

Hey there! That OEM black shock is at least double the weight of the aftermarket one. And you said it! It's incredibly bouncy on potholed New England roads, but the Bilstein made a decent difference. It's still Mr. Toad's Wild Ride on slow corners with holes, but I no longer lose my teeth! =D
  11. 2021 ford ranger 255/75/r17 on 17 x 7.5 55 offset. Nokian outpost nat - will they rub?

Great memory, but I don't have those Nokian yet. I only have 12K miles and I'll need to wait until a bit more before I get them (LOL, at this pace, that'll be 8 more years! LOL, these Bridgestones may rot before they wear thin enough!). =D
  12. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

Using that front bumper chain to pull that guy out! =D
  13. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

  14. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

So far so good in Kate's Mazda and in Soupie. I like that it's clear and not oily when it dries. But it does stop me from licking the engine ... =p
  15. Where’s your dog?

Anyone remember the 1970 and '80's Sears Weatherbeater paint commercials? Well, Kota peed on it, hope no one saw ... Then talking about things getting pissed, a dually Toyota flatbed, just a few blocks away! =D
  16. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I got my "free" $1000* annual oil change yesterday. Soupie's almost 4 years old with a whopping 11,397 miles and this is the 4th oil change ... Apart from that, and being incredibly dirty from a slushy winter and grubby paw prints for the mini wolf, Soupie's doing great! Did a dump ruin two...
  17. basic dashcam

I've got the Next base GW622 in Soupie and my wife's CX-5. Both setups also have the rear cam. The price has vcome way down. It was $499 when I bought it a few years ago - now it's $249. It's done well over the last three years, no complaints. We don't have the heat problem that some dashcam...
  18. Finally did it. Bought the Maverick

W00t! A candy apple red one - nice! Too bad I'm too much of a fat a$$ to ride in the bed of the Maverick! =D Pick me up at the T&A Truck Stop, they have an all-can-eat breakfast buffet! =p
  19. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Lol, it would take an army of Kotas to get that done! =D
  20. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

I love battery jump packs, what great tools. Some of you know I use one to work on the old FJ40 Land Cruiser and, to me, they seem impressive. Last week my daughter's car died at the gas station - it was wicked pissah cold and she'd only driven it a mile to get to the gas station. I drove up...
