I agree, the catastrophic failure seems more than just the hose giving way. Unless over time, a completely unattached hose causes undue instability, wear, vibration and ultimately seizure. Then whammo!
A few people have reported finding the deteriorating hose, with no other damage. So I think the catastrophic event where things fail and rips everything to shreds is extremely rare.

I think I am going to hold out for the 2026 Goosetuned. A little pricier but I have seen nothing but great reviews. Not too worried about the warranty. And yeah, there's nothing much else I want to change, it's so well-equipped.

I had the dealer take off the "Raptor" decals before delivery. Couldn't stand them. I also took off the dealer sticker on the tailgate. Looks so much better.
Reminds of the tour bus trip we took along the Million Dollar Highway in Co. You could look out the bus window and see nothing but straight down. No guard rails (that I remember). That to me was nerve wracking. Glad we had an experienced driver.
