Some of the trees were very close to the house but it was no big deal for these pros….
Good job, Kramer! I had mine down to 12 km (7.5 miles) and I was getting a bit concerned. I think I was paying more attention to my Google Maps and info screen than I was to the road ahead.
Two of my neighbours have the newer (2024–ish) Tundra. Nice looking and absolutely huge. One is the hybrid version and man, that guy sneaks down the street so quietly, I have to have my head on a swivel when cutting the grass (no sidewalks). They both say they love them and they look sharp.
One time, I was driving my rental out of the Regina airport to a reservoir (Buffalo Pound maybe?) and I swear I could see the Calgary Tower on the horizon. :wink:

From your written description, regular turbo noise was the first thing I thought of. After playing the clips, I was thinking how it sounds like my truck when the turbo is spooling up. A smooth whistle that increases and decreases with throttle.
Turbo noise on these trucks is relatively faint...

Pad material build-up on rotors
Rotors worn too thin
Sticking calliper slide pin
Sticking pad tab
Sticking piston
Often, it’s a build-up of pad material or overheated rotors. Actual warping of the steel rotor is rare but build-up of...
Actually, I hope it’s something simpler than that - undoing their damage can be very difficult and/or expensive. Too many of us have found out the hard way…
