It sounds like to me the nannies were holding you back at higher speeds, and by trying to compensate for that you were getting too loose at slower speeds.
The only way to turn off RSC (roll stability control) is Sand Mode. Try it. I don't play in sand much but Sand Mode, Sport, AdvanceTrak...
I was running 25psi in the tires (stock tires)
Sport mode
2wd
Normal mode on terrainmanagement
AdvanceTrak off (held traction control button until "advancetrac off" pops up)
I've played around with them a little but not on this trip. Do any of the modes allow you to be in 2wd? I didn't mess with them because I didn't need 4wd. I've seen too many people snap axles from being in 4wd and being on similar trails.
I'll definitely have to play around with them some more...
I don’t know if you played around with the terrainmanagement modes, but some settings moderate the throttle response so that it’s harder to spin the tires on loose/slick surfaces. Maybe give those a shot if you haven’t.
Hey all,
I’ve got the TM switch installed, and have enabled the following in Forscan:
Selectable Drive Mode
TerrainManagement System
Off Road Guage
Off Road screen
When I hit the TM button, I can see the different drive modes come up on the cluster. However, I can’t seem to move out of...
Thanks for the reply here. No TerrainManagement on my end. I'm reading that can still be installed, regardless of the locker? Might be a good place to start?
...decisions about what kind of conditions you tackle, how you get yourself unstuck, etc based on those.
If your truck has TerrainManagement, then it will also benefit from a brake based traction system. These match wheel speeds by braking wheels that spin faster than the others. These...
But does it have an engine cover? Can little critters bunk down comfortably?
I saw your mention of the seats and wanted to remind you of Seat Jackers.

I put them in Soupie and Kate and I find it makes the seats more comfy (a...
...the big 2024 launch.
Mine came as some sort of super upgraded package. I'm still not sure what all I have on it but it has the TerrainManagement, Crawl Mode, LED headlights. Electrical outlet in the bed, Bed lighting, Flip and fold Toneau cover, Bed rail cargo system, POWER SLIDING REAR...
Greg, first off, beautiful truck. Functionally, it would be as good as, or arguably better than a factory Tremor off road. The big differences with the Tremor package are the upgraded Fox 2.0 suspension, rear leafs, bigger tires, wider wheels and bigger alternator. All of which are upgradeable...
The Tremor has different Fox shocks than the Fx4 and different leaf springs too. It also comes stock with LT265/70/17 General Grabbers. IIRC the driveshaft is also different from reading the Tom Woods thread. All things you can upgrade on your own fairly easily.
Serious question... How is a Tremor functionally different from what I have?
I have a 2019 Lariat Sport FX4 with a locking rear, TerrainManagement, Trail Control, front air-dam delete, Ford Performance Off-Road Leveling Kit and BFG KO2 255/75/R17 tires.
If I were to trade my truck in for a...
...The good tech will likely come to NA with a Tremor model, the US will not see the Wildtrak nameplate. Wildtrak X is also just a trim pack, it has no real additional hardware over a standard Wildtrak, other than offering the 2L Biturbo diesel with the 4A T-case and a few terrainmanagement modes.
I’ve wanted to do this, I haven’t used Forscan before, though I might have a guy locally who can set it up for me. What’s the process like? Easy as swapping buttons and updating a code? How long did this take you, and was it difficult or technical?
any info would help, thanks.
