So I’m going with a brush guard by black horse. I just went to my local auto parts supply to see if they can order it. The have great pricing and usually very good turnaround time! As it stands if I don’t hear from them on Monday that means their supplier has it available and they ordered it. So...

I don’t know how invasive it would be but I suppose you could tap all the wires into their respective wires on the truck like the reverse wire. I wouldn’t want that plugged into the 4pin trailer connection all the time either. Plus I’ve read that mods plugs into the 4pin will cause the trailer...

That sounds awesome. I HATE heat! It regularly gets into the 90s with humidity here in pa. It’s not as bad as other places but I’m praying for fall in July. I don’t even wanna imagine not having AC.

Right when the the salesperson was going out to put the plate on she hands me a pice of paper with the vin and say you’ll need this to set up Ford pass so you can start your truck with you phone. It was a pleasant surprise!!

Unfortunately not this time. It was only about 20ft if that of serious mud which led to parking in my neighbors corner house driveway and wheelbarrowing 2tons of dirt into my garden(I made 4 trips I didn’t haul all that dirt at once)

I won’t be rock crawling lol. I was definitely in a very specific situation that ideally would require a mud tire but that’s basically the only situation I’ve experienced with the ranger. I got it at the end of march in ‘21 and the 21/22 winter where I am wasn’t anything near winters we normally...

Which is exactly what happened but unfortunately I couldn’t go quickly at all because I have a gate that’s leaves me with only and few inches on either side and it’s uphill to get in my yard. In hindsight I never should have attempted it but I guess I got over ambitious. I got myself out though!

Thank you….there’s a lot of conflicting information out there…..i didn’t hear it here but from what I found 4lo would have worked in a thick mud situation which is what I was in.

Stopping wasn’t part of the plan but I have a gate that leaves me with only a couple inches of clearance on both sides and an the whole yard is inclined and of course you have to go up it to get into the yard. Never INTENDED to stop but had to slow to almost stopped…..till I was stuck.

Which is basically what I would have needed for that one specific situation. I was curious to peoples opinions and preferences because I’ve seen the stock hankooks get some hate.
