Thank you for doing that...I thought maybe that w
Build date 2/2019 and it has the seam seal. Do you think it has anything to do what part of the country you are in or maybe where it was built?

I bought mine from Lasco Auto Parts as they had the best price with shipping.

Well the F150 isn't a bad truck either. My son used to get frustrated because his sister would make him drive her around and the truck couldn't go near as fast with two people in it.
I ordered from Lasco and it was delivered 4 days later and shipping was only $13.50.

Good luck. Jim
Not on the Ranger but on other computer controlled vehicles. Each time, it turned out to be a bad alternator. One time, the alternator would act up but start working normally every time I took the vehicle to the shop. Finally a mechanic decided to keep it all day and drove it and put it on...
There is a time delay and also a battery charge delay or turn off if the charge is too low. I also believe there are other factors that control whether it will activate. Cabin temperature is one but I think there are more.
I had all that and more including the bumper, front grill, and several areas in the lower body that are subject to road debris. I paid for it as a lot was custom but I with the investment I had in the truck, I felt it was worth it. Get someone certified with 3M and you will love the results.
