its magic 8 ball stuff
nothing scientific, just someones observation that when there oil was in the proper level hot, when cooled it was found to be at this level cold.
assuming all the draining, settling and whatnot occurs consistently over all transmissions, it could be an accurate "cold"...
Here are my findings:
1. There is no way I could get the plug loose from underneath. I went from above with a 3 ft extension. The plug was way tighter than the 50 ft-bs the manual states.
2. I checked it cold and there was nothing on the dip stick. I used FordTechMukaloco's recommendation to...
I have the 589 Fab mount and have been using a Rough Country 9.5K synthetic unit for a while now. Have pulled a f150 and empty boat trailer out of the lake, a toyota corolla out of a ditch, another old f150 out of a muddy field, two volvo 740's out of the woods for a buddy, about 20 tree stumps...
Those MAGNETIC GREY wheels look great with the color of your ranger. As much as I like steelies I have to say that looks a lot better. Nice job!

Oh man! If you’re doing exhaust I love my SPD set up! I will say it’s a little loud since I have the over the axle dump and no resonator but my friend has their exhaust on his eco boost f150 and it sounds great and isn’t as loud running all the way to the rear of the truck. Great quality and...
Fox 2.0 uses eibach springs in the front for the coil overs. Fox dampers and shocks.
Wheels are personal preference and in my eyes don’t benefit use of the truck. That’s why I left my factory wheels and bought spacers although I will probably eventually get 17” wheels for a little more tire...
The fox 2.0 set up from ford comes with coil overs for the front and shocks for the rear. No springs but it is a great improvement over the factory parts.
I have the fox 2.0 and bds upper control arms with icon rear leafs and love the way my truck looks and rides both on and off-road. I think you would be more than happy with the kit even without the uca’s and rear springs if you are mainly commuting and hitting an occasional trail. I run...
While I somewhat agree with Tom_C I understand the need for a vehicle before the next generation arrives. Also, who’s to say they won’t have issues as well. That being said. I love my ranger. 2020 XLT FX4. I’ve had one issue that I had to take to the dealer and that was the passenger side window...
What suspension do you have on that mug? Looks like the fox 2.0 maybe and uca’s? Looks awesome! I see you’re in north ga. If you’re close around Chattanooga and wanna trail ride or something some time gimme a shout.
Did you ever get around to installing this system? I have the dump catback but have been waiting to get the DP. Was just gonna see how you like it if you have done it. Thanks in advance!
When you shift into reverse and option pops up on the dash saying something along the lines of back up assist and you can toggle it off. Camera and all is still there. Just doesn’t make sound to alert you there is something in view of the camera. Not sure if side impact detection still works...
Well those pics where from the first time I mounted the rack or the bikes and was just a trial run. In use I rotate the pedals backwards so that they backpedal up against the rack then with the rear wheel locked in place on the rack the pedals can’t move either way. Also there is a ton of...
I ordered a latchit rack Sunday after reading through this forum. Have used a bed mounted cross bar system and more recently a north shore racks NS4. I don’t think it’s a bad review by any means. Just things that need improved on and an honest account of your experience. I will say I received an...
So I used a Yakima bed rack system to carry my mtn bikes for about 7 months before getting a hitch carrier and now my caps are loose and rattle at various times while driving and it is getting fairly annoying. I tried to pry my bed rails off to install some 3M double sided foam tape or...
