Hey all,
Just wondering if anybody has ever changed the little LED in the interior door handle cavity and how to do it?
I always knew that only the driver side lit up, but I thought that was the way it was designed until I looked today and realized that the LED is in there, it's just not...
Hey all,
Just looking to see if anybody has had this issue before and what you did with it:
Today I got into my truck and put it in reverse and when I let my foot off the brake, nothing happened on level paved ground. So, I gave it a little gas and the truck reved up and started moving a...
I don't claim to be someone who knows everything about cars, so i can't comment on the thought pattern but here is somethings I do know:
In my time, I have never seen anything but improvement by switching to equivalent synthetic oil from conventional.
The only thing I could see being possibly...
Hi OP,
Just for a background, I have 14 years of experience in oil analysis.
The difference between Conventional and Synthetic oil, simply put, comes down to the oil's stability. Synthetics will maintain optimal viscosity over wider temperature ranges (i.e. better pouring viscosity at startup...
The only reason i posted a new one was because there didn't seem to be much resolution with the other ones when it comes to their dealerships. There was alot of "check your injectors", "might be your hpfp", but mostly it was "my dealer won't do anything because they don't care about oil...
I tried doing the PID method, but unfortunately my OBDII reader is bluetooth and takes power from the truck, so as soon as I stop the aux power, i lose connection.
Yes, i was having increasing oil level. After my oil change this month, it went from middle of the hash marks to a 1/4" above the upper dot in 400km.
Typically I'm driving to/from work which is 90% highway, doing to speed limit on the way there, but passing lane speed on the way home. The drive...
That's where your "viscosity index" comes into play. You can actually calculate your viscosity either way if your oil doesn't have fuel in it diluting it. For my purposes, the drop at 40C was evidence enough of dilution that i didn't really care what it was doing at 100C, it would obviously be...
Hi all,
I know this topic has been discussed before but just want to give some background on my findings in case it helps anybody.
I have worked as a level 2 oil analyst and have been a foreman for an oil analysis lab for a combined total of 14 years. So, it's easy for me to keep tabs on my...
I agree with the OP, the travel is just enough for me. I am about 6' 1" and I need to have the seat as far back as possible to be comfortable. I'm surprised to read that there are people taller than me who are comfortable!
At least it makes it easy to go back to my seat position after the wife...
Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out if my auto rain sensing wipers are working correctly or not.
It seems like when I have the auto sensing wipers on they act like normal wipers, going at the exact same rate all the time (depending on speed/sensitivity setting), no matter how badly it is raining...
