Hey all,
I am looking to do my front brakes for the first time since owning the truck as the pads are down to about 3mm.
I have 2 questions:
1. I have always changed rotors when I do pads on other vehicles, but I also don't usually catch them before it's metal on metal, so the rotors are...
So, after replacing, my temps are about the Same as what you are getting. Sounds like yours is working correctly. I am going to drive for a month now and do an oil sample to see where I'm sitting.
I've been in the same boat for a bit with high percentages.
I worked with my dealer recently to have my radiator thermostat replaced under warranty. My engine was never getting past 85C during operation, and you could see it start to level off in the high 70s. The thermostat is only supposed to...
Has anybody heard anything about the block heater recall lately?
I had the recall on my truck, brought it in and they removed the block heater. Now, when I look up my VIN on Ford it doesn't have any recalls on it anymore?
I just want to make sure i'm not being overlooked since they had said...
I have driven the truck a few more times since this happened and have not been able to replicate. Must have been like you said, and some contact wasn't quite making on the door. If it happens again I will update.
Thanks for the help
Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has had this issue?
My interior Dome lights have started flickering intermittently while I was driving. I thought perhaps a loose connection and the bumps with flicking it on and off, but it does it in park as well.
See the Attached video for what I mean.
TIA
Pulled the fuse out for the day while I was at work, and had no issues on the drive home.
I also tried pushing on the instrument panel and tapping around it to see if I could jiggle a lose connection but couldn't make it do it again.
Hopefully that was it 🤷🏻♂️
My dealer appointment is the...
Anybody ever have this happen before? The image has not been altered or mirrored on my phone.
It was intermittently doing this during my drive this morning. I could not notice a pattern or reason for when it would flip.
From what I have heard, you can turn it off with Forscan, which I have no problem doing, but I still have a warranty and I don't want to give the dealer an excuse to deny me.
I'll probably stick with the nightlight in the rear socket for now
I didn't know that was an option, I got mine second hand. Did they do that for all model years? What is different that it doesn't have it? Is it that they just deactivate it, like what one could do with Forscan?
Ugh, False alarm then... I had never seen that option before so I thought they had added the option finally. So, what does it do? Shut off the engine after 15 minutes or something if I leave it running? I didn't see any option for length of time.
Also, are you saying you need to keep your truck...
I haven't seen any posts on facebook or here yet that there is now an option in your truck settings to uncheck your "Automatic Engine Off".
I guess I can give my kid back his night light that I have had plugged in to the back outlet of the truck to prevent the automatic stop/start...
Wow, these things are affected by either the summer gas or the temperature outside alot!
The drive is pretty much identical since March, the only difference is the change over to summer gas in April, and the warmer weather outside.
Yes, I have the lighting on. I may not have been clear; the ambient lights are on in the driver door handle and both footwells, but not the passenger door handle
