  1. Swollen M12x1.5 Wheel Nut (ACPZ-1012-H) Replacement Write-Up

I got my one piece lug nuts for my Ranger today after work, it took about 10 minutes, well worth the effort. None swollen yet so got them swapped out in time.
  2. Has anyone added aftermarket Sirius XM to their Ranger?

I used the xm vehicle kit in my 11 F150. It comes with the head unit, base, power cable, antenna, and accessories cable. I ran the antenna wire under the passenger floor mat and outside at the door hinge and had the magnet antenna right above the windshield. The base say on the trashcan just in...
  3. Swollen M12x1.5 Wheel Nut (ACPZ-1012-H) Replacement Write-Up

It's an old story with Ford's I had to replace the lug nuts twice on my wife's escape. I'm a slow learner. I just replaced the factory lug nuts on her new 24 Bronco Sport with one piece nut and am doing my Ranger this week. You don't want to be caught on the side of the road with a flat tire and...
  4. Tires for my 2021

I have been using the L2/3 for years, I have had them on my escapes and 05 and 17, on a 94 F150, and on the 19 Ranger XLT, 4x4 I just got. They are long lasting, quite and give good performance on dry, wet roads. I don't see much snow in Tennessee but they have done well in the little snow we do...
  5. Pull A Tree Stump?

Years ago (1980) I pulled out similar sized stump with my 1978 F250 4x4 in low range and granny low on the four speed. It took several hours and many attempts to yank it out and that was with two other guys working with pry bars and a chain saw. I would not try it again, there is always hidden...
  6. Brake Pedal Issues

One of the first things I noticed about my new to me '19 XLT was the soft brake pedal. Saw all the comments about Forscan so I down loaded it and got the adapter. It didn't connect to the computer but read to download the updates for the adapter and then it worked great. I then bled the ABS and...
  7. Ford OEM body parts and the Chevrolet progressive preferred auto body dealer.

I feel for you, while I was in the desert in 2003 my son pulled our Taurus into the garage ( not through the open door) and insurance company sent my wife to the local Chevy dealer for repairs. Still sore about that, your insurance company should extend the rental car until you have your vehicle...
  8. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

I am a civilian mechanic for the Army here at Fort Campbell, I had to bring my 19 Ranger into our shop to hook it up to an Army trailer that for some reason had a 12 RV flat 7 pin light cable on it instead of the military style connection. Best part the guy actually doing the work is a GMC guy...
  9. Going Old School

But remember when you put on your more experienced LP's, that if you remember when the songs came out, they are not old.
  10. What Are You Listening To?

I definitely have the ringing in my ears (over 20 years in the Army with Army guns and explosives going off, then another 20 years as a Army civilian mechanic.) but for music 60s, 70s, and 80s rock.
  11. New Members Introduce Yourself!

Got a pic of my 2019 Ranger at my work, with some of our work trucks in the back ground. The work trucks are a couple short bed Army 5 tons with a long bed also, and can't forget the little 10 ton wrecker. It's nice to know that if you get in too deep the HEMTT wrecker is there to get you out.
  12. Wow, Ford service today....over and above

When the wife Bronco Sport had a recall, the local dealer sent techs to the house to do the computer update in our driveway. Ford has started going above and beyond in this area.
  13. New Members Introduce Yourself!

Hello, I am Stephen, just got my 2019, hot pepper red Ranger XLT, super Crew 4x4. So far it's great, it replaced my old F150 super Crew. No pics yet but will get some soon.
  14. Where’s your dog?

This is my girl Bear, she's a 3 year old Belgian Malinois. Just got my '19 Ranger XLT, and she's waiting patiently for her first ride.
