  1. I had my doubts about the engine, they are beginning to get confirmed

A call to Ford corporate will get any issues you can't get resolved with the dealer fixed. I know, I have done it and ended up more than satified with the outcome. " I had my doubts about the engine, they are beginning to get confirmed" Sounds like a Ford wasn't for you from the beginning.
  2. What the #$%^ is wrong with my Ranger?

Love the ride of my Supercrew FX4. It's what sold me on the truck and I drove ALL the others.
  3. Is a DIY (Do It Yourself) oil/filter change worth it ?

The Works is not always $49.95. Make sure you check with your local dealer BEFORE the work. Ask me how I know :curse: Ford's Quick Lane: "The Works" $49.95 includes tire rotation and pressure check, brake inspection, vehicle inspection, fluid top-off, battery test, filter check, and belts and...
  4. Anyone try the Extang Trifecta 2.0 Signature?

This is how mine connects to the rear portion of the bed with a drop in liner.
  5. Anyone try the Extang Trifecta 2.0 Signature?

The install takes about 10 minutes. I have a drop in liner and instead of using the supplied aluminum piece that attaches to the front top of the box I used a rubber stick on strip that is normally used for truck cap installs to fill the space. There is no way I would have gotten the holes in...
  6. Ecoboost Requires Warmup Before Driving?

My 2011 F-150 3.5 Ecobeast was running strong when I traded it in. I do think it is best to warm up these Rangers a bit. Mine does seem to stumble if I start it up and go right away.
  7. Uncomfortable seats

One of the reasons I chose the Ranger is the seats. You want to fell uncomfortable seats try a GMC Canyon. They are like sitting on a rock.
  8. SOLVED: Android Auto Keeps Disconnecting

I gave up on this BS. I'll just use Sirius and the built in Navigation.
  9. Need recommendations for non-leaking tonneau cover (avoid Bakflip G2)

I got this one. No drains or rails to fool with because it sits on top. It is very waterproof. The canvas is really nice. Goes off and on in minutes if you want but I leave mine on all the time. https://www.amazon.com/Trifecta-Signature-Folding-Tonneau-94636/dp/B07N32NSFF
  10. Well I changed my mind

I traded in a 2015 Mustang GT also......Power of the truck is good but there is no comparison.
  11. ODBII Auto Start/Stop Eliminator - $129

I used one of their products to add GPS to my 2015 Mustang GT. Worked as advertised.
  12. Anyone try the Extang Trifecta 2.0 Signature?

I spray it with a hose and it is clean. Haven't muddied it up yet. No water pooling. The support bars have a slight bend to them which forces the water to not pool. It is also pretty water tight. Just got back from a trip from NJ to NC in pouring rain and nothing got wet.
  13. Anyone try the Extang Trifecta 2.0 Signature?

I have it and love it so far. Seems to be holding up well.
  14. Effect of start/stop on turbo?

Bunch of friggin' back yard mechanics think they know better than the Ford engineers
  15. Tonneau cover front gap mod

My soft tri-cover came with a piece of aluminum to fill the gap. I have a drop in liner and it would have been impossible to drill the holes in it to line up. I ordered this and it worked out great...
  16. Thinking of Trading In My Toyota Tacoma

Just got back from a trip from NJ to NC towing my 2000+ lb boat. I will not say that this trucks tows just as good as my 2011 F-150 3.5 Ecoboost but it is remarkably close. Getting up to speed on entrance ramps and was able to cruise at 70 mph with ease. Even passing was effortless. To say I...
  17. Should I Buy a 2019 Ranger or 2019 Ridgeline?

If you don't need to tow go with the Ridgeline.
  18. Bedliner Help

I had a drop-in liner in my 2011 F-150 and now I have one in my 2019 Ranger. Installed it in the parking lot of the dealer. I called in the morning and by the afternoon they had it. Parts guy helped pop it in.
  19. Ranger Camper Limitation

When I had a F-150 I did the research on this and it was best to use a F-250 for a slide in camper so I would expect a no for a Ranger.
