Thanks! I have a shaker hood and the scoop is in the exact position of the intercooler so it works out.
  2. Georgia Wtt 5ft bed for 6ft bed

I have an e-repairables account. The issues is im not willing to buy a whole salvaged truck for just the bed. Unless someone would like to go in on a buy its not worth it to me. I am searching salvage yards though!

You are absolutely right! My apologies. This 69 cobra is just like my wife. Its a love/hate relationship and im always working on her to make her better.

So as far as the swap goes, I will need longer leaf springs, relocating shock mounts, extended brake lines, extended driveshaft, and extending the frame. These guys at BDS extended their frame 10 inches. It seems pretty strait forward.

Oh man. That ranger is awesome. This will definitely be a fun build.
  6. Georgia Wtt 5ft bed for 6ft bed

Does ford make a fleet regular cab? Because a crew cab 7ft bed would be awrsome.
  7. Georgia Wtt 5ft bed for 6ft bed

I would basically add a foot tocthe existing frame.
  8. Georgia Wtt 5ft bed for 6ft bed

    Yes, extending the frame.
  9. Georgia Wtt 5ft bed for 6ft bed

Yeah I do some crazy stuff. The bed conversion is probably on the easier side of the things im doing. To compare I have a 69 awd twin turbo itb independent cantilever suspension fairlane cobra fastback that I have been building. The bed conversion seems strait forward compared to that.
  10. Georgia Wtt 5ft bed for 6ft bed

I have a shadow black fx4 (no bed liner) 5ft box that I'd like to trade for a 6ft box. Im doing a long bed conversion and im sure someone would like to do a short bed conversion to a supercab (would be an awesome crawler with a short wheelbase). Pm me if you are interested. Thanks.
