Well if he likes it. I probably would have opted for the lightning still myself over Tesla if I were in the ev market although I have seen way more cybertrucks than lightnings unfortunately. Just can't get over how ugly the cybertruck is, it actually makes the current Chevy 2500/3500 look...
Had no idea he said that but from judging from the docs at work complaining about the overall quality of their teslas, I'm not sure I'd touch one that cheap...
Anyone remember when ford said that people will get the Lightning for a starting price of 40k? Or the hybrid Maverick for 20K? They then claimed to not have known how popular either would be and jacked up the prices so that the prices were unreasonable for the target audiences?
I bet Pepperidge...
The 2nd gen 2.7 has a belt driven oil pump so any ford vehicle made in 2018 and newer with a 2.7 eco has the belt. Not sure if it has been an issue but from my knowledge of belts soaking in oil leads me to the stay away area.
Looking at the fuse, how do you remove fuse 9 without removing fuse 8? seems to me that they intentionally tied the horn in this way to prevent people from doing exactly this
I have had oil changes from Ford, Chevy and Mazda dealerships while under warranty and none of them had me out of there in under an hour. You were there for an hour and fifteen minutes and they gave you a free oil change? Yea I would be looking for their mess up in the parking lot before leaving.
I have only towed with my Ranger once so far and that was last July a week after I got it. Like you, I forgot the trailer was behind me but it was probably only 2500-3000 pounds loaded on a u-haul trailer. I am about done with nursing school and plan to spend more time outdoors camping once I...
I remember being a teenager in the back of a S'cab on the way to scouting trips, no way I would be subject an adult to that torture . Still nice to have waterproof storage though.
Oh I will, just disheartening to see all the different issues and trends, especially since I am approaching...
Yea I had to make those same repairs, amongst many others, on my 01 S'cab F150. After searching the forums and taking with some friends that are through and through ford guys and how infallible they are who confessed that they too had to do the same thing as well at one point. Maybe I just need...
You mean to tell me that ford still hasn't learned to improve their products after a couple decades? My 01 F150 needed the cable ends replaced because the cheap plastic broke rendering the door handle useless. As much as I like the Ranger, my faith in the long term for this vehicle is dwindling...
There is a sticky about it under the lighting section here. From a quick glance it is plug and play but read through it to verify for yourself. The assemblies are also like $1200 a piece.
My XLT Ranger S'crew has a payload of 1752 pounds and my 01 XL F150 S'cab was around 1600 lbs. Don't remember what my two Chevy's had but weren't far off if I remembered correctly but both were heavier than my 01 F150. This is my first midsize and I was looking at the Frontiers due to their...
Yea they had started preparing for building it in the early 90s and finished it all around 2000? They didn't have any actually builders to build, just family who could come up and help. My understanding was that clearing the land of trees and a path for larger vehicles to make it though to build...
I will, I did buy an extended warranty last summer when I bought the Ranger. Like I said, it was shifting fine and then I had the trans fluid and filter changed and after that is when I started experiencing the bucking and harsh shifts. If that returns then I'll have it looked at by the dealer...
You know more about all that than I do! My grandparents had built a house on Bull Shoals and some of my earliest memories were of helping with the build. I do remember one winter that had a blizzard come through and know out the power to the mountain and they were practically keeping the house...
If you have dogs, be sure to have them wear an orange reflective vest for safety against hunters. Also, since you mention having a house built, 2x6s will drastically help with cooling and heating cost. Lots of fishing and hunting options up there if you are into that!
Ah so you're limited to state parks until you get your SSN. Fortunately, Arkansas, has plenty to offer and is quite a beautiful state when you get the chance to explore it!
Just replaced mine and now my transmission is shifting smoother than it ever has. I had the fluid and filter changed on it last month and since then had a lot of bucking and harsh shifts at partial throttle which helped me get around to replacing the sensor faster. Not sure why changing the...
