Sounds like a slow leak, I have one like that on my Sprinter right now. I will be pulling mine off this weekend and water it to find the leak. Then do a punch patch to fix it.
Yeah KBB shows trade in at about 14k, so they have a lot of room to move. I wouldn't consider without a warranty which I'm not sure they could do at that mileage.
I learned about offroading when I was a kid going out with my dad. He had a 64 Dodge pickup, slant 6 , 4 speed, 2wd. We went some crazy places because he knew how to drive and had a lot of patience. He had a portable winch that could be mounted front or back, but I only remember once pulling...
After @airline tech saved my butt, Rusty started right up with no error codes and the blend box working perfect. The replacement was a full day job (mine was a bit messier due to a lot of added wiring), but was not difficult but was tedious. My recommendations are:
1. Get a small hex drive...
Thanks, I did find a connector unhooked that went to the driver foor and now the touch lock works on that side. Reseated all plugs at the fusebox. Still getting no key so tried reset with Forscan. Below are the errors aftet reset.
Pics from the project:
Box replaced, ready to replace dash
This is a lifesaver for removing/replacing the back screws
All of the looms from the fuse box removed
Box removed exposing heater core
I removed the front seats which makes it much easier to move the dash around since I was by myself.
Good news and bad news: I replaced my blend box today and it was a full day job. Worst parts were getting the new box on the AC unit and the mass of plugs on the drivers side near the fuse box, what a tangle. I will add some pictures of the process.
The bad news is with everything back...
