  1. Why did YOU choose a mid-size truck?

Mid-size fits my hauling needs, easier parking, fits down hunting trails. Very happy with the truck so far!
  2. Paint issues

I notice a few minor blemishes in my paint but 'meh', it is a truck and I'll scratch it up anyways.
  3. 13.77 quarter mile on first outting!!

My 2013 SHO with the performance package ran 13.499 stock. You truck is haulin'. :like:
  4. OBDII DIY Simple Lock

If they have access to my truck I have to assume they'll need access to that port. They'll only see my truck for warranty work.
  5. General Grabber ATX

I've had them on my truck for about 5k miles now. I like them a lot but having some issues with getting them balanced the way I'd like...might be the shop I've dealt with a couple of times, might need to get them road-force balanced. That aside they've been great both on road and off.
  6. Test drove a Ranger today.

    That forum is something else...
  7. Windshield Washer Fluid Flush

I’ve never even stopped to think about washer fluid. Never had any issues either.
  8. PandaMotorWorks Tailgate Damper

We're never going to be able to use the beds on our trucks if somebody doesn't make a dampener kit soon! Our tailgates are so heavy it is impossible to pop the latch and lower it by hand. I'm so frustrated by this I might dump my truck and go buy a Prius!
  9. Interesting note in owners manual

Those who write these manuals for a living have to justify their jobs.
  10. Effect of start/stop on turbo?

Meh, emissions in North America are a drop in the buck when compared to air pollution coming out of countries like China and India. Also, pretty harsh commentary from a guy who lives as close to the U.S. border as one can possibly get. ;)
  11. How long for the Ranger smile to fade?

    7k miles and still cheesin'.
  12. FordPass remote start

I use it almost every morning. When you get in just turn the key to the 'on' position and go.
  13. Livernois Tuning released

I've been to Wyoming, Mexico before. Nice area.
  14. Former Tacoma Owners Club

I had a 2014 Tacoma Off-Road and it was a great truck, but I like my Ranger waaaay more. Seem pretty equal off-road so far, which is a good thing . The 'GEN 3' Tacoma was never on my radar...swing and a miss for Toyota IMO.
  15. Budget Mods

A couple short videos of my stock '97 XJ, which lived a pretty hard life, on it's final adventure after I bought a 2000 XJ.
  16. Budget Mods

If it does drag and get beat up just take it off later. I hit a lot of trails in stock trucks or SUVs and never had problems as long as I resisted the urge to get crazy/stupid. Tricked out vehicles look cool but stock vehicles tend to do pretty well on even moderate trails.
  17. WARNING: Mud Kills Alternators

Beating on any vehicle in harsh conditions kills a lot of stuff. Gotta pay to play.
