Well, a new issue occurred today. Houston is starting to rain and flood again. Got home after driving in the rain with no issues. Pick up some stuff to go back out to run a quick errand, and as I am backing into a spot at my destination, I get a trailer connected, then a disconnected warning...
Just an update, I decided to go the Forscan route as a friend of mine has a Ford Flex that’s display issues again and he was considering it. Reprogrammed the tire size and disabled the stop start system as well while I was in there. Anyone know how to turn off the timer for the air recirculation...
I think this is the route I’ll go if I can get an 87 tune
You’re the first to answer it! I do have the Bluetooth obd scanner already. Will it read transmission temps?
A few weeks ago, I bought a new set of Michelins, but they didn't have the factory tire size in stock, so I went to the next size up. To correct my speedometer and odometer, I want to recalibrate them. I do not have a Windows computer, otherwise I would just get ForScan. I have seen programmers...
That’s great! Yea I do have the power locking tailgate on my XLT. Not sure if that is standard or not, along with front and rear sensors in the bumpers. Those appear to be working just fine regardless of the camera clarity though
The part shows for a 2023 super duty. Assuming it also fits the Ranger, $20 is pretty cheap, so I’ll just replace the harness and be done with it. I still can’t believe when I disconnected it from under the truck, it didn’t change the signal until I dropped the tailgate and wiggled the wire
I have no idea why or how I disconnected that connector under the bed to check for corrosion and it doesn't fix the issue, but when I actually drop the tailgate and pull the wire back and forth, it fixes my issue. My issue also started with that freeze a couple of weeks ago when it dropped into...
I checked the connectors yesterday, but unfortunately, it did not appear to be the cause of my issue. 25V572000 is the recall I am referring to, which my truck apparently is not part of despite being the correct year and displaying all of the symptoms.
It shows a very distorted, dark image. It...
I agree. Rockauto has the camera for $70 plus shipping, I was just wanting to ensure that I wasnt changing a good part out first. After looking at the connectors today, I think that is the next step
Well my Ford is doing Ford things and my back up camera no longer works. I either get a message saying it’s unavailable or a black distorted screen. Either way, I can’t use it. It is a 2019 Ranger and despite the recall announced last September for these exact symptoms, mine is somehow not...
