with turbocharged engines the fine particles are the must harmful. I've seen many turbos dusted on 6.0L where people had put K&N filters in. To me I'm not as concerned with the HP increase as I am the torque, makes more sense for towing and off road, and that is at 2,500RPM so the air flow and...
after putting almost 400K on my 94 Ranger, with a 5 speed, and many of them off road I will never go back to a stick for anything I plan to go off road with. Now a Mustang hell yes I would get a stick
with my Ford points $1,250.00 for the kit, and being a former Ford master tech, and an ASE auto and medium/heavy duty truck master tech, I installed the kit myself in 2 hours, with my sons help. and got the alignment done, so done for under $1,300
yes, I will sell the K&N I won't put it on my truck. "project farm" on you tube did a thing on air filters that anyone that is thinking about using a K&N filter should watch
I ordered mine a couple weeks ago and was told to expect it around July 4th. I have had experience with K&N filters and I will stick with the O.E. filter. They do allow better air flow but don't filter anywhere as good as the O.E. filter
no, I just put the FORD/FOX kit on mine and it works great. it took my son and I 2 hours to install both front and rear, but I was a FORD master tech for 20+ years
I for one thank you for your work on the Ranger. I had a 94 XLT super cab that when I sold it had 390,000 miles on it. Now I'm driving a 19 STX FX4 crew cab
I just finished putting the FORD/FOX kit on my 19 FX4, and it did help a lot with that. I only wanted to be able to fit a little bit bigger tire on it. I don't care about show, we actually go off road when we climb 14ers here in Colorado. the install was easy and took less then 2 hours, with my...
hello all, Eric here, been a FORD guy my whole life. Bought my '19 Ranger 4/19 to replace my '94 Ranger that had 390,000 miles on it, and was still running strong. We don't do hard core rock cowling but we do a lot of off roding to climb 14ers here in Colorado. And in just over a year I have put...
Factory spray in bed liner
Century fiberglass cap
tinted all windows
Ford/FOX 2" leveling kit
Ford Tune kit, should be in in 3 weeks
will replace tires to 265/70/17 when the tuner comes in
just ordered the Ford trailer brake controller
the folding mirrors would be helpful in the back country, we climb 14ers here in Colorado and some of the roads get pretty narrow. I put a cap on my crew cab so the rear slider would serve no purpose at all. I had a slider on my 94 super cab with a cap and road noise was all it did when it was open
