I got the crew cab because the passenger space was more important then the longer bed. now if it was available I would have gotten the 6' bed with the crew cab. If I didn't have grand-kids and if it was just me and the GF the super cab with the rear seat delete is what I would have got.
Has anyone put a front facing camera, not a dashcam, I'm talking like the Raptor has. some of the trails we drive have steep rolling hills and it would be nice to see whats on the other side. I'm thinking something on the front licence plate or grill and a screen that can be put on the dash or...
Coming from a 94 super cab 4.0, with 386,000 miles on it, I put 300,000 of those miles on it. This new Ranger would run circles around it. It rides much better, even before the Ford/Fox leveling kit. I can't say there is anything I really dislike about it, but I've only driven trucks. My...
I see no reason why it shouldn't. I use full synthetic Motorcraft oil and filters. that's my choice, just don't use cheap filters. I got 386,000 miles out of my '94 4.0, only thing I did to that was an intake manifold gasket and timing cover gasket. And don't get greedy with the boost, although...
not even close, the Ford/Fox rides and handles so much better. I was on the fence about doing it but I am so glad I did!! Make sure you get it aligned as the extra lift really toes it in
I was the drivability guy at a dealership for 10+ years. and yes we can tell when a tune on the PCM has been done, 99% of the time you get a "keep alive memory" code will be present. It all depends on what is wrong with the car/truck whether it would be covered.
It's not hard for them to be valved differently, I race mountain bikes and specialized has a FOX Rear shock but it is completely different from a "FOX" shock even though they that are both called a "float 23"
