Updates:
It appears Midland has very recently released a new config for the MXT275 (USB-C) to enable wide band on the repeater channels. I've sent my radio in for the update and will let you know once I get it back if it improves audio quality on the repeater or not.
The KG-1000G arrived...
I lost A/C before 8,000 miles on mine after a trip to Florida. Seals appear to have blown out between the thermostatic pressure valve and the evaporator. Under warranty, but no ETA on when the part (seal kit) will arrive, was told it's on backorder, "galactic backorder" where the SA's words...
I recently ordered this radio. My plan if it ends up in the truck would be to mount the radio behind the rear seat and then use the remote faceplate feature and have it down under the climate controls between the accessory ports. I have the Midland MXT275 (15W GMRS), it works ok, but most...
With your connection locations I doubt a fuse would blow unless you had a short in your new lighting wiring.
Some notes though: That ground should be on chassis side, not on the negative terminal of the battery. I don't think that should cause anymore issue than because the truck's electrical...
While on the topic of the app, if you have a tire go low after parking, will you get a notice in the app, or do you just have to wait until you are about to leave to see the flat or a notice on the dash in the truck? To me if I got a notice over night that I saw in the morning I could better...
No, my local dealer has a new 2022 Cyber Orange SuperCrew 4x4 with black appearance package, tow and tech package on the lot, been there over a month now. Last I spoke to them MSPR is the price on it. Visually it is my truck's twin, so please, someone not on the east coast of NC buy it and take...
And went to my appointment today. The tech refused to look at the pictures I sent so there was no attempt to order parts in advance of my appointment. I was advised they need to order a seal kit that is on "galactic back-order". No ETA.
Mid 40s. My first FoMoCo branded car is a 67 Lincoln Continental, The Lincoln as my first car, so much of my early driving was in that car, not sure it's fair to say I learned driving in that car as I just hopped in and drove. I'd been fascinated with driving since I was young and watched the...
I used to work in a tire shop for years a little over 20 years ago, and while I know the market changes over time, from my experience there if I were looking for an on-road truck tire the Michelins would be one of the first I would look at. Looking at the current specs I would likely go with...
Well, if you don't have trailer brakes I think the max tow load rating is 1650lb according to the owner's manual, yes I know the U-Haul trailer includes surge brakes. Trailer brakes are an option that can be added and my manual does not state that with the brakes the 70mph limit can be ignored...
My black light arrived today. And I think I found the problem with mine, looks like a leak between the thermostatic expansion valve and the evaporator. Emailed the pics to the service advisor. And suggested they consider having new seals for that service on hand and hope they don't find any...
