I'm not going to pretend I know the first thing about Truck chassis' engineering, however, I would presume that the overall strength of the truck is a derivative of the strength of its frame. The Ford Ranger is nearly as strong as the weakest Ram 1500 - which is a full-size pickup. I think even...
This is a good point - the Weathertech I posted is installed with 14 adhesive-backed velcro pads. So it is nice that there's a system that keeps the mat in place. It's kinda ugly when you peel the mat off - I will admit. With 14 rando Velcro pads littering the bottom of the bed. I leave the mat...
If you were interested in a 2023 Ranger the answer to your last question is you would get this backup camera. You are correct they are required in all new vehicles and RedDakooter is correct that all Rangers have a backup camera.
As I see you're shopping for a 2024 - We don't have an answer...
I have the Weathertech Techliner + Tailgate protector
I like the fact that this mat comes up with a lip about 2.5" - here's one of my install photos where I've got a bunch of stuff to get it to lay down flat. It's snug as a bug in a rug today. You can see the mat lip coming up the wheel tunnel...
Yeah I believe it's the latter because the pump and everything have to be rated for gasoline vapor otherwise it's a huge bomb haha.
Here is one that says it is rated for both types of fuel.
This was a good video David. Looks like the Justrite you posted was the winner overall but a little more costly than thhe Eagle & VP. For anyone curious here were the "cheap winners".
VP Racing Fuels $43
Eagle $60
I've just been sitting here for a moment thinking about this; and it really is a perplexing situation to have a vehicle that was essentially brought here by market demand and then not receive any follow up marketing support. I'm talking your traditional "you asked, we listened," ad campaign...
Have you reached out to Ford yet to see if they are willing to help with any customer Goodwill? I've seen stories on here of people getting help from Ford with big bills like this.
So I vote @MY23RANGER "coolest new forum member". Look at what we found in his work parking lot!
I can now be at peace and no longer be tormented by a silly piece of foam. Seems to cut the injector tick a bit. Worth the journey.
Patrick thank you again my friend it was really cool meeting...
I feel this is to be expected regardless of the Bronco debacle. My opinion is; in a perfect world where Ford flawlessly produces cars to simply fulfill demand without delay, the Maverick still beats the Ranger in sales. It's less expensive, it offers a hybrid power train, it is more similar to...
Yeah I have a short backup in case I don't need to touch the phone but for some reason I always find myself needing to pick the phone up physically while it's plugged in and the 6' allows me to throw it in the passenger seat if I need. I like slack on things.
Edit - I also just realized my...
@Beez - the cable 100% matters. It has to be a USB A->C Data cable for your phone. I have a similar phone and I use this cable.
Anker USB A-C
Another thing is, you do not necessarily have to launch Android Auto before you use it. You actually just plug the phone into a proper cable and that's...
