So the explorers use the 10r60. Hated that when i had one for a rental.
When i had my 21 tremor it felt way better, only quirk was a cold 3-4 hard shift, but other than that, no issues, but only 17k miles.
On my 18 raptor, it also had a hard 3-4 shift, and some weird downshfiting hard clunks...
Interesting, i honestly thought my tremor had some really comfy seats. Even on long (for me) 8hr drives never had any lower back pain and i had the support dialed back.
My raptor seats are a bit more supportive, but those give me some lower back discomfort over time which is interesting.
Will...
If you want heat rejection, the new ceramic tints can be light, but knock out a ton of heat/uv.
I personally went 15 up front and 30 in the back windows, back had a darker tint already so now its really black. Figure id rather get a ticket than someone peaking inside and seeing something they want.
I had a weathertech cover on the ranger, was good on water tightness and looks, but the clamps no matter what kept falling off after sometime.
If i were to get another soft rollup it would be the truxedo lopro, have had that on my lightning for 5 years now, no leaks and the clamps hold fine...
Yeah it took me like 4 hours to swap headlights, i didnt want to do that ever again for an issue, covered by warranty or not.
I think i had the gtrs in mine, but they didnt fit so i left the dust cap off. No issues when washing the truck or dust, but not sure long term.
Also you dont need to...
Yup, went with the pros cause they dont have that silly animation startup and can swap in leds. Be careful though cause not all leds can fit in there. Theres a thread on here a bit back that had some leds to get that fit.
Prob the best lights ive ever had with the brightness and sharpness of...
11 is basically all hwy on cruise control haha, it does have a battery so its basically a hybrid, can park at all the ev stations.
Power is crazy easy to make these days, took a lot of money just to reach 600 to the wheels on that truck, double the cost of the truck. Rangers on a tune can make...
imo it looks cool, and 1k for it all things considered is small considering its a 100k truck msrp. For a ranger thatll be a lot.
And thats not takin into account dealer markups are 50k on the low end.
Too bad they dont offer ford performance blue anymore, but i also wish they offered...
too bad the thing weve been clamoring for so long is priced out of most peoples range, and thats just at the mythical msrp.
Wouldve loved to see it as an addon package and on lower trims.
1. FOX 2.0 shocks/coilovers off my tremor. These were taken off at 7k miles for the Fox 2.5 DSC shocks. 99% street, but i did do some offroading with them.
$1200 obo, can ship.
2. APG billet UCAs with uniball and heim joints in King Shocks Blue. I never got around to installing these so theyre...
Selling my Ranger RTR Tech 6 wheels x5 (+30mm offset) in grey with tires. Tires are 285/70/17 and have 8.5k miles on them.
Located in South Fl, can drive within reason.
Thinking $1400 for the set. Open to offers as i do not have the truck anymore.
fwiw a shop in aussieland swapped a 5.0 in a ranger raptor. They said it took a month or to do the physical swap, but i think 1-2 years to get the engine talking to the CANBUS systems to keep all the original functionality.
That said id love to see this build if you go through with it.
Stop n go killed the mpg on the tremor too.
Also have to wonder about oil dilution with such short trips too with it being direct injection based on some posts people mentioned in here.
Yeah i started to not care for 93 only after a bit.
Even though 20mpg isnt bad for the tremor, filling up every week with 93 sucked, and for the power/difference it made, doesnt feel worth it now.
Costco gas is at least a smaller hit compared between reg/premium.
Running premium and throwing in some Lucas Oil can help bump it up. The former is probably not gonna save you long term, but the latter will since its decently cheap to throw a few ounces in the tank and it can give you 1-2 bump.
Premium fuel bumps up the power a tad, but for some reason it...
