makes me wanna check mine too, too bad on the 3.5 its super tight to get to.
Superchargers are way easier to check, can unbolt it in 15minutes to check the rotors and the oil can be sucked up with a little vacuum and replaced super quick.
im in the excessive category, i change oil and filter...
man i love this dude, provin all the people wrong who touted that were wasting money changing the oil earlier than what ford recommends wrong, newer motors dont need it/oil so much better etc etc.
I change everything way before its said to be changed and its nice to have a vid to show others...
Whats crazy is the people who still get the black ops or black widow packages at some crazy markup.
To what OFC was saying, when i was comparing the '21 tremor to a 21' roush the tremor offered more and cost way less.
Truly is a shame that shelby, roush, (dunno what saleen is up to these days)...
i had a 21 tremor with sprayed liner, i didnt have an issue in that regard. If it was offroad'd hard it would have a variance in the rear cause the bed isnt supported there vs the front.
i wonder if the ranger rap will fly under the radar or if itll go like the bronco or 37 raptor in terms of stupid crazy adm.
at least it got a 20 gallon tank but man, still dont get why they cant make that thing bigger. I get just slightly worse mpg in my raptor vs my tremor and 36 gallons, i...
i feel like with the raptor package coming out, the tremor falls into a weird spot between the fx2/4 and the former. Guess it really depends on pricing.
F150s for example the tremor is way too close to the raptor in pricing, it almost seems like a waste of a package, if i didnt need/want to...
i think it may be a newer vehicle thing, my '04 lightning has 207k miles on it and i had the trans and engine rebuilt once, but its making 700hp-750tq and is driven hard and raced a lot.
My dad has an excursion with 250 or 270k miles on it, supercharged v10 and still has the stock trans running...
Yeah the offroad stuff is funny, had a dealer try to pull that when i had a front axle leak, but i was still under the 3-36 and its a damn raptor, offroad is where it belongs.
Long story short got it fixed under warranty, but just annoying getting anything done under warranty these days.
New...
i hope you guys realize that pic is for a different truck, and the lower shock bolt for it is indeed that tq value, or else it wouldve sheared off long before i even got to that value.
Speaking of shearing bolts off, i misread the tq spec for our bumper as ft-lbs and it was written in-lbs...
used my air impact to get it snug then used my buddys tq wrench that was able to go to 500ft-lbs help me out.
Highest ever tq ive ever put on something lol, i think my ranger was under 100 ft-lbs for the lower when i threw on the fox 2.5s
