This sucks and i feel for your aggravation and time dealing with this. Nothing worse than a new car lemon. I just went through this with a 2018 jeep.
Ford does need to be methodical to find the core issue, as opposed to just throwing parts at it. They need to know the cause, so they can...
Had the no drill weathertech mud flaps on my 2014 F-150, was very happy with them. no issues whatsoever after 85K miles. Bought off lot, and had to add some.
Just added flaps on the Ranger, since I special ordered it.
The FX4 did not have too much attraction for me. I ordered a 4x4 with rear locker. That's all I needed from the FX4 package. And IMO any ANY off-road package should not contain carpet.

Lariat was a no go from the start for me.
different strokes and all

no complaints at all. 30lbs PSI on the door jam. I am at 31/32 cold. very happy with the ride.
not sure what others are experiencing, but love the Ranger and ride is awesome.
I ordered an STX since I did not want push button start, touch screen, or carpet. Has everything I want, and nothing i did not.
4x4 Supercab STX with tow package, sliding rear window and rear locker. Perfect truck for me and no touchscreen. had an 8 in touchscreen in my jeep and freakin...
You can control that with braking.
I can come to a complete stop and not engage auto off....then press harder on brake to engage it. My jeep was the same.
Practice in your drive......you'll get it in no time.
Comes in handy if you know it will be a quick stop
