Seriously, on a cold start and go at times I get just a slight "lurch" going from park to reverse but after that I haven't had any issues I've detected outside of normal. Not had the lurch if I've used remote start or just let it warm up for a minute or two
I realize that (read your post) however a thin coat of ice will set them off. I wiped mine off and in a few minutes in freezing drizzle they went off again, stopped and found I could see the sensor perfectly but it had that thin coat that came off in a disc and they didn't go off after that...
No. Sorry I didn't realize they are always on , if I leave my interior lights on and the trucks off and locked the lights get shut off automatically after a few minutes, not sure if they are tied into the parking lights.
Any ice build up on the sensors? On my Lariat 2019 when my front ones get coated in snow/slush /mud I push the off button on. The console for the sensors that beep when you get to close and it silences it.

I did a combo, 1 inch readylift, half above spring assembly and half below the front shock. Then we set the Bilstein 5100s at just over 2 inches +or-. That way I didn't compromise ride quality, got a level lift and larger tire clearance. 2 years later and I have no regrets. Truck rides better...
