Yep, many recalls from Ford. Seems like a lot of S/W issues.
But at least they are not telling you to use heavier oil to mitigate engine defects (until warranty runs out).
I'll counter the microplastic fear mongering with this:

Congrats on the Raptor.
I have yet to see Marsh Gray IRL, but the pics I've seen look like it's a great color. But those may be deceiving. Pictures of Cactus Gray and Azure Gray don't look anything like the IRL.
As for pricing, one step down would be a Lariat FX4 with 2.7 and Adv tow. And that's...
They will fit 2019 to present Rangers and Broncos. Maybe some before.
The pattern is 6 x 139.7(5.5in), with a 93.1mm bore.
Some Toyotas have the same pattern, but the bore is different, either 106.1 or 95.1, depending on year.
So, basically putting an air charge shock on your links?
Air is compressible. The question is, will this device compress before the sway bar flexes.
There's no 5G Raptor, and a difference in suspension from Raptor to non-raptor on 6G.
Maybe you mean the last place would be YOUR dealer.
I always take it to MY dealer. I make an appointment. I'm in and out within an hour.
They will even pick up my truck from work, take it to the shop for service, then return it, at no extra charge.
You also have to look at what the recalls are related to.
I'd rather get 5 recalls for camera, or SW update, that a recall to replace an entire engine due manufacturing issue.
" Toyota is set to replace a total of approximately 229,000 engines in Tundra pickups and Lexus LX models due to...
Nice. Saw a Bronco in that color. Absolutely gorgeous. But if I had waited until the '25 Rangers were available in that color, I would have had to insist on chrome package.
And after seeing this video on how the eCVT works, I might have bought a Maverick instead.
probably not. Our local salvage will give only $300 for a non-working junker.
Maybe there's some frame, axle, and a few body panels that can be used from this one.
How is butchering up the current configuration, doing what might work or not, going to "keep his grandfather’s truck on the road for as long as humanly possible".
Chances are that all that work will shorten the trucks life. Once you get 4x4, you'll be tempted to do 4x4 stuff, which could be...
This is why I disregard 'intended' use and do what I want.
Ex: I don't care what the patent for the TP holder shows, I put my paper rolling off from the front.
If you haven't noticed, very few US citizens want EV anything. What's promised a $30 vehicle, ends up actually being $40k to $45k. (looking at you Elon).
Well, when gas is $2.50 a gallon in US and $2.50 a Liter in Europe makes sense that they want EVs and high MPG vehicles. And my guess is that their government demands are worse than ours.
I guess another thing would be what kind of MPG it gets.
It would be something to consider if it could up the MPG of a standard ICE Ranger from 24 to 30 or more.
