I’m with Bleu on this one. It’s under warranty so it’s Fords problem. It wasn’t spraying rocket fuel on the troops. It’s easier to diagnose a problem if it hasn’t been semi repaired.
You have Ford roadside assistance if you bought it new. You might even have it if you didn't and it's still under warranty. Regardless don't drive it. You knowingly drive it and get in a wreck say sayonara to insurance helping.
Nobody expected the 150 to out pull the Duramax. They also didn't expect it to shed load at 2700 lbs less than it's max trailering weight. The 150 hybrid is rated at 12,700 maximum towing. They said they were at 10k. Maybe the manufacturers should add that grade to their towing tests.
You really can't drive that fast for that long on the street. You run out of asphalt or run into trees. The WOT for every on ramp gets old after a while. Now if you mean you're dragging a 7000 lb trailer with 90 ft of frontal area over the Rockies every day, that's another story.

It’s forecast to be 91 today which is standard. Our humidity ranges from 11 to 25% at the peak. It was 106 a few weeks ago but the humidity was single digits. We have AC and a pool. This is just our normal. Portland is another matter.
It's the internet. Everybody with a keyboard has a voice. That's not always a good thing. A person might be a uneducated putz who cleans outhouses but on the internet they believe they are Steven Hawking. I try not to take it too personal.
There's a large towing thread. It will probably answer all of your questions. IMO the 7500#s isn't the weakest link. It's the payload. You'll either max out the truck GVWR with a WDH or the RAWR without a WDH pulling a 7500# trailer.
Get ready for the rush of people stating they pull their 33'...
