They charged me list price for the device and 2 hours for the installation. I used my Ford Pass points to cover a lot of it.

Get it included in your purchase agreement if it causes you such concern. My dealer installed ours and it went well and according to plan and price. The only issue was the 4 weeks to get the device after ordering it. I didn't get the device with the purchase. AFAIK it wasn't even available yet.

I just had the FORD TBC installed. How did the adaptive cruise control work in tow mode? For some reason i thought it would be disabled in tow mode.

I figured the first class action would have been for the TBC or lack of an authorized TBC in early 19. The sharks might have missed the boat on that one. My mileage is better than the EPA posted and I don't need to take it that easy.

The Hankook AT-2 tires have the severe snow rating also but aren't the same as the Blizzaks. My 2019 came stock with the Hankook ATM tires which were M&S but didn't have the severe snow rating. I believe the 2020 Ranger comes with the AT-2.
