I have owned a truck continuously since 1979. The first one was bought new and the Ranger was bought new, the others were spare vehicles. When my brother was without a truck he would borrow mine on occasion and my kids have used them. But the two that were bought new have never been driven by...
After I ran the app they put on your USB to check the APIM the NA 2 21 maps disappeared as a selection but I could still install 3.4.22110.
Unless, Cyanlabs figures out a way to get around the lock or Ford releases them I will continue with my NA 2 20 maps. The need to update maps is way over...
The NA 2 21 maps are now available on Cyanlabs.net. The issue is that Ford has locked the file differently and you can't install on a Ranger with a model year 20 or newer APIM. So if you own a 19 Ranger (and maybe early 20) you can down load and install the NA 2 21 maps.
The safest bet is when...
I have been driving turbo charged 4cyl vehicles continuously since 1985 as my day drivers. Once the novelty of the added power and I go back to my normal driving habits I have got the same or better mileage with all of them and most it has been better.
I live in the Boston area and all most dealerships are owned by just a few companies. Herb Chambers has at least one dealership for every brand that is sold in the US, Quirk, Colonial and Ira all have dealerships selling multiple brands too. A Ford dealer could have come into possession of these...
For all practicle purposes those tire/wheel combo are all the same size. They do it for marketing purposes, folks tend to just see the rim size and assume bigger is better. And, by keeping the overall diameter close to the same they don't have to start juggling rear end ratios or transmission...
I can tell you why I like the built in system better.
1. I find having to plug in my phone every time I get into the truck just to have nav available is a major inconvenience to me. 99.99% of the time the factory nav gets me to where I am going.
2. Google Maps may be getting updates more often...
This may not be what the OP is experiencing but all three of my 2.3 Ecoboost powered vehicles would develop a dead spot in the throttle right off the idle. With the Ranger's automatic it translates into a lurch. Anyway you can calibrate the throttle quite easily.
1. Turn the ignition on but...
FWIW, DeWalt, Porter Cable, Craftsmen and Black & Decker are all made by Stanley. The 20 volt Lithium Battery packs are interchangeable between all of them.
Well our Dachshund jumped off the bed (instead of using the ramp), landed on the hard wood floor and let out quite a yelp. Didn't seem to effect him at the time but he was in pain the next day so we took him to the vet. They put him on rymadel, keep him quiet and said hope for the best. After...
Picture is tuff, I have to disconnect the front drive shaft from the axle inorder to get up in there so I don't want to tear into it again until I have the correct fittings. But it does seal with an o-ring.
I found this picture on the internet.
I have a set of metric thread gauges. It really didn't match well, seemed like it was a M14 x 1.5 but if it is the threads are machined well, they looked like what you might see on a lead screw.
Thanks, definitely not BSP since they are a slightly finer pitch. The thread looks like a trapezoidal thread like you would see on a leadscrew. Most likely some sort of metric thread.
I suppose, but you can say the exact same thing about a F150 Raptor. As far as price goes the TRX and Raptor are very close to being the same MSRP. I realize folks are paying upwards of a $20k premium for a TRX but the same was happening when the Raptor first hit the market.
Like most folks I...
I started my project to install an Oil Pressure Gauge and a Boost Gauge the other day.
I had purchased so adapter tees with the intent of putting the tee in the port on the oil filter adapter and the factory sensor back in the tee with gauge sensor in the other port.
When I removed the...
