I just went to a local 4x4 shop last Friday and they quoted me $800 for a Rough Country level kit, installation and alignment. After I picked my jaw off the ground I asked how much for the level kit and he said $100. So they want $700 just for install and alignment,
Well, I wasn't sure they would fit without any issues since the Tremor has the Fox 2.0 on it regardless of Ford Performance offering them before the Tremor came out.
The Tremor Rims and tires fit on a FX4 with a stock suspension with no rubbing at full lock or over speed bumps. I didn't get finished putting all four on until after it was dark out so I will get better pictures tomorrow. This was after I got the passenger front on to check fitment.
If they don't fit I will start a Ranger5g GoFundMe to get a Fox 2.0 kit or one of you will get a great deal on rims and tires with free door to door delivery from Kanses,
I saw people saying here on Ranger5g that that size tire would fit on the stock rim without a lift or a level but I couldn't find anyone try the wider rims from a Tremor. We are due for a bit of snow the next few days in KS so I will put them on this weekend. I will let you know how they fit.
I liked this post, then unliked it, just so I could like it twice. My kids are very respectful of other peoples property but they sometimes "scuff" thing just like I do or my wife does. Doesn't mean they don't respect other peoples stuff it just means that they are human like every one else...
From the article:
The kit comes with an oil pump, a chain drive, a damper, damper bolts, an oil filter, and a head gasket, which means customers can swap over all their top end components or upgrade those parts as well if more power is desired.
I did my update while driving home from work. When I got to the house it wasn't quite finished, so I left it running in park. When it said it was complete and a key cycle was required to finish I did that with the USB drive still in. When I restarted the truck it took a few minutes but it said...
Yeah, that's why I said "problem solved for me." I know not everyone has that option and I think Ford needs to fix the issue with the climate controls. Every vehicle has it's minor quirks and problems but I don't think any of the quirks on the Ranger is earth shattering.
I agree the at the climate controls are a pain in the butt to see during the day, but I just hit the voice button and say "set temperature to 68". Problem solved for me.
I did the install yesterday and everything is now working perfectly. I don't have the SXM issue with it not playing after shutting the truck off for a few minutes. Also the SXM services all show as subscribed again.
It was also the first time in the 3 updates I have done with a USB drive that...
