With the spray wrap you donāt need to sand, I just used denatured alcohol to completely clean everything. For the tow hooks, I used a 320 grit scuff pad.
Hated the FX4 silver lower fascia and skid plate. Decided to Peel coat them black and also painted my tow hooks orange to match my WildTrak decals.
I know this mod isnāt for everyone but I dig it.
When I installed my lift I had the liners pulled back and saw the two exposed bolts but not the attachment toward the fender. The block sits higher than the crash bars I removed but does stick out a ways.
Iām speaking from a standpoint of already installing my lift and being in there and not...
True. In the grand scheme of things itās not all
That bad. I also feel bad for those who have major damage and the car/truck is never the same after itās fixed.
My crash bars are removed already when I installed my lift and coilovers.. Iām crawling rocks and other steep terrain so I want as much clearance as I can. Cutting fenders is out of the question. Lol.
Thatās how it was with my EB F-150. I always ran the 93 tune or E30 tune. Lol. Itās about $12 a tank difference here between 87 and 93 which isnāt too bad I guess.
Oh I looked. Never again. Lol. I know my 87 tune helped a lot. Iām doing 17 city/19-20 hwy now. Havenāt used my 93 performance tune yet with premium being $4.00 a gallon here. Should be fun since my 87 tune lights up my 33ās from a stop ?
I have remote start on my key fob but I use the ford pass app to start my truck at the end of the day at work. The hanger I work in is too far away from the parking lot for the FOB to work
