I can concur with this statement.... I'm currently running the Livernois Tow tune (regular shift) - I'm probably going to be changing to the 87 non soft shift tune soon - That tune pretty much restored the 1-2 MPG I lost with my bigger tires. The tow tune seems to be a bit less MPG.
You won't...
I should have gone and looked before I posted - I just went out and one side on the back of the drivers seat has it the other one does not. With it off, you can see the seat bolt (mine is even dirtier than yours - you can see all the dog hair):
Since this clicked in pretty firmly, I question...
Ditto here - and #2 by itself probably wouldn't be enough seeing as how my 5G is paid off now.
Next month will be 4 years for me, hard as it is to believe - I've got 36k miles on it and I've loved every mile I've driven in it.
I was just telling someone yesterday - This is my 4th Ranger and it...
I think Tesla, for all the good it has done in the EV sector for innnovation, has spurred a lot of the negative perceptions about autonomous driving. Marketing what is essentially a high tech cruise control as "full self driving" gives people the complete wrong perception over what the...
I'm guessing it is a digital vs analog gauge issue based on comments here. Mine always displays correctly whether I have it off during fueling or if I keep it in accessory mode. I almost always put it in accessory mode since I add the fill up to Fuelly and need the mileage, etc.
I almost always keep mine on in accessory mode while it is filling and it displays correctly. Maybe this is a difference between the XLT (regular gauge) and the Lariat (digital gauge)?
I remember our old Explorer would do that if you turned it to accessory while it was filling. Sometimes even...

I fell into the "revolving lease" hole many years ago. You get a new vehicle with a relatively small payment on a lease - the lease comes up, and you go to turn it in and instead of buying it out, they can put you in a NEW vehicle for the same money or just slightly more - but it is...
I guess my point is it is all a matter of perspective. Under 100 HP was common back then and we somehow survived. Cars these days have WAY more power than they "need". Is it cool? Is it fun? Sure! I love the power of my Ranger - but It certainly is not NEEDED.
Congrats Duke - I'm jealous..... Although I found out yesterday I'm in the 3 digits for number of days left until I can retire. If I could do it today, I would jump at it. I just don't have the patience for idiotic corporate America anymore.
As others who've retired have told me - "Every day...
Unfortunately, I need quite a bit more space than those provide.
I ended up getting the 108qt trunk:

And a couple of the 16 qt ones as well...
Wow - they are pretty uninformed them - they only get built at one plant.
Wonder if you should try again - maybe you will get someone else who is more informed?
If it fits the winch that is exactly what I was thinking. The big if is if it will fit the winch - it will be tight - it depends on what the internal dimensions are which I can't seem to find. I think I'll probably just go buy it and try it and if it won't fit return it.
