  1. Help!, What oil?

I always do Pennzoil Full synthetic 5W-30. Walmart has great deals and I can usually do the full oil change for under $30.
  2. Anyone NOT have problems with the Ranger?

I haven't had any problems today! Is it a toyota camry from the 90's? No. But at the current pace, it seems reliable enough to last a long time and that should be good enough for me.
  3. Rangers in SNOW

What is all that white stuff? I am unfamiliar with it. Looks cold. It was a little chilly in Florida this morning, a bone-chilling 56F.
  4. Anyone say, I should have purchased a different truck?

Dude. The Ridgeline is massively underrated. I would wager that it is capable of more 'Truck Stuff' than 75% of people who own trucks will ever use their truck for. Now it won't work for the people in here that tow huge campers or turn their vehicles into off-roading champs, but it's a more than...
  5. Broken Hose in Engine - Help

It sure feels like that when you step near it and the fuel pump starts going. PS. I don't have the proximity key... ?
  6. Broken Hose in Engine - Help

Wow. It is good to know that. Thanks! I'll still probably unplug it when dealing with spinning things...
  7. Broken Hose in Engine - Help

Now don't you start with this 'logic' non-sense! Some intern probably bought 4,000 ft of hose instead of inches and they had to use it for something.
  8. Broken Hose in Engine - Help

It was just standard 3/8" fuel line. Feels sturdier than the old stuff. $3.29/ft
  9. Broken Hose in Engine - Help

It was about 6 inches. Auto zone sold it by the foot and it was the end of the roll so I have about 2 extra feet of hose now.
  10. Broken Hose in Engine - Help

If I can turn on my truck from the internet, anyone can... Now I'm not paranoid, but common sense seems appropriate in this situation.
  11. Broken Hose in Engine - Help

Got some 3/8in fuel line from Autozone. Took about 20min. I disconnected the battery, didn't want skynet deciding if I got to keep my fingers or not. The old leftover carnage, it fell apart in my fingers as I tried to pull it off.
  12. Broken Hose in Engine - Help

Thank you all for the responses. I'll just replace the hose myself. Duke, I apologize. Despite only being 25, I can never seem to get the search function to show me what I'm looking for. I'll probably spend some time this weekend looking up obscure topics and problems to try to master it...
  13. Broken Hose in Engine - Help

I was just out poking around in the engine bay and noticed this hose(?) coming from the fan that seems to have completely broken off what it was connected to. But I'm a little lost at what it is connected to. It seems like a metal plug. Any ideas? Is this a 'trip-to-the-dealer' type issue where...
  14. How long did your factory tires last (miles)

I had the Bridgestones. Needed to be replaced at 30K. Fantastic in the wet though. Never had any slippage. Replaced with Michelin LTX
  15. New Tires - Alignment Necessary?

Got the alignment done. The tech called me and said "Your alignment wasn't that bad actually, how long had it been since you last rotated your tires?" LTX tires are wonderful so far. Smooth and quiet. Even drove in some wet weather the other day. Full confidence.
  16. Turbo Upgrade Y/N

Based on how fast Sid seems to put miles on his truck, that sounds about right.
  17. Turbo Upgrade Y/N

Is that more or less than the 97K miles?
  18. New Tires - Alignment Necessary?

I wanted to go with those, but they don't make them for the size I needed. 255/65/R17. I think they did have a size for the 18in rim though. Is that what you have?
  19. New Tires - Alignment Necessary?

Thanks for all the suggestions. Voices of reason vs. my wallet which is already light enough after those tires lol. I've found a little shop that has great reviews near me that I will visit this week and see if they can take care of the alignment for me.
  20. New Tires - Alignment Necessary?

I upgraded from the worn out Bridgestone Duelers today to the Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2 today. New tires are very smooth and quiet. I have a question though, I had the old tires for 30K miles. Due to me not having enough jackstands and no free rotations, I hadn't rotated the tires in...
