This seems timely for this thread! ?

I will suggest not starting a vehicle in a closed garage even if there are a couple passive vents. There is still a CO risk. Especially if you get delayed and the truck runs longer than you expect. Just open the door first, then hit start. Problem solved. And new problem averted also.
On lightly driven vehicles, you should aim for annual oil changes at least. That part is not overkill, even if it only has 2-3k on it. But that is a very different thing than doing them every 2 months at 2-3k...
OMG! None of you amateurs are doing a drain and fill on the air in your tires (don't forget the spare!). Every 2 years or full solar eclipse, MINIMUM!!! And use the dry Nitrogen too.
?
Day to day I ignore them, but my wife is 5'4" and uses them getting in and out. I also use them for reaching up&over like cleaning windshield or top of the cab of snow, but that is about it for me. On my old F250 they were basically required to use to get in and out for both of us as that...
We must stick together, brutha!!!
And yes, I like to tell people it is called Stain LESS steel not Stain FREE... There are ways of making it rust...or at least show rust.
As you saw, oil (engine & trans are handled the same) is pretty easy. Brake fluid and coolant are a little tougher and it can vary by state laws. Our county does a yearly hazardous materials collection where I dispose of brake fluid. Across the river, MN has sites in each county for this that...
No video but as a plus it is Ranger related!
Driving from LA to SD while on a business trip with coworkers. I was in front passenger seat. We're on the freeway (405?) that is prob 4 lanes wide or more but traffic is light as it is mid afternoon (this was 20+ yrs ago). One lane to our left and...
That's a pretty slick setup. I was thinking of plugging it into one of the rear console ports since I have a supercab and people don't really sit back there. Out of the way but still accessible. Probably use Command strips to stick it to the console too.
I'm pretty sure I have heard others here say they have it, but I certainly could be wrong about that. Typically AA needs wifi for the bandwidth to run maps, etc wirelessly as Bluetooth is insufficient on its own. If that is all true, then that missing wfif hotspot would seem to do it. Worst...
My other car works with my Android phone (Pixel 6 pro) both wirelessly and wired. It connects both Bluetooth and Wifi to the car. For my normal commute to work, wireless is perfect as it is only 20-30 min. Longer trips, I plug in to charge. My Ranger connects with Bluetooth only and that...
Start the truck, and park it off to the side. While sitting in the driver's seat with the truck in reverse, foot on brake, have your wife come driving rapidly towards the rear of the truck.
Oh. Right.
+1 fix wiring for real FIRST and blow out the condenser from behind, carefully so as to not bend over fins. With a truck that is a few years old, AC used heavily and in dusty environments, it could be dirty and reduced efficiency.
