I'm really having a fun day
Took my 21 into my local dealer to look at wind noise around the rear door seal, as well as some paint flaking around the rear of the bed.
Unfortunately the service writer managed to bang my door on a desk in the drive through service writers area when he moved it...
Well this is going to be a joy to read all of this thread.
My 2021 has 7k miles now and I'm trying to decide if I have some shudder as well. I'm definitely in the who knows position now as I seem to get some light vibration at like 40-50 mph and it's more audible than anything. But it doesn't...
I found the stock halogen on my xlt to be quite lackluster and 500 bucks would not cover even scratched up lariat units from ebay.
I would probably walk away and get something else or wait another year.
As mentioned previously the lack of parts is going to be real fun in a few years and with...
I hope everyone comes out with a nice full featured mid size truck that doesn't cost 40k+ for a mid level trim.
One of the reasons I didn't put much thought into an taco last year was my local dealerships offering me 2wd sr5s with no locker at 37k before fees.
As it stands it seems every...
My finance guy wasnt bad, did a little scare about touchscreens going bad and how expensive they were but didn't push it too much.
Unfortunately extended warranties are expensive as a florida resident due to state law like 2-3 times more.
If a dealer had done that to me op I would have walked...
According to the compute on my stock 2021 fx2, I was getting 22.8 combined over the first 5k miles.
Reset one of the trips and drove 500 miles of maybe half highway got around 23.8 mpg.
The last 500 miles with a cover I've gotten 24 or so with mostly in town driving.
As mentioned before, I would shop around and see who takes x-plan, I missed out on it because of the 90 days thing and I need a working vehicle after a string of bad luck and self imposed wrenching errors, so I settled for what I got (only 750 student incentive, no trade in, pretty much msrp...
I will say I've tried 3 phones on my truck, an LG v40 and recently an Samsung s10 have worked for extended periods without issue, but an old moto x4 would disconnect after 20 minutes or so, all with the same cable.
Only thing I can think of is somehow AA is crashing on the X4
I saw a couple so far, include one with some mods. I think it's got it's place , imo the only non truck thing about it is the frame and what that nets you. For it's target audience it perfectly capable.
I wonder if everyone else are going to start chopping up their cuvs to make these.
Shit, my rotors will rust overnight here in Florida, its bare metal so what do you expect.
I just replaced my Subaru outback rotors last year (and promptly broke a timing belt:mad:) and they were rusted to hell but i've never actually had any issues with them for the 200k miles (I know should...
I agree with this 100 percent, I have only driven maybe 6 vehicles In my life, a couple of older trucks, an kia soul and old 4 cyl outback, and for me the ranger has been the smoothest driving vehicle I've had so far, now from someone who might be coming from some kind of luxury suv with a good...
Looks like a nice truck, if it had actually been out when I bought my 21 I might have given it a look ( my area had the opposite problem, very few Colorado's/canyons and Tacoma's at MSRP+ADM+Some high DOC fees)
Nissan just doesn't have the money to do a redesign and I agree it will probably be...
That or a thread chaser, I used a pair of those aluminum chasers since I didn't want to risk the threads and it was cheaper than a non harbor freight quality tap
Actually got a bit a follow up on my experience, the shop was able to get the overspray off with some IPA and a plastic scraper , unfortunately it too all the paint on the edge of the tailgate seam with it.
Also I noticed this behind my tailgate dampener the other day , as far as I can tell...
I was actually talking about the brackets that go in the threaded bed holes that give additional support the bed rails that I've seen some people mention in their reviews
