Sport mode will not down shift on its own, try it. It only downshifts as you put your foot on the gas and drop the RPM range lower with a smaller gear on a downgrade. Don't take this to mean you have to manually downshift in Sport, you don't. My point is say you're coming down Pikes at 25mph...

Hate to tell you but the CDF drum isn't necessarily going to immunize you from problems. My 23' Tremor has that drum from get go, it was built in May of 23' and it still shit the bed in under 4k miles. They're taking care of it under warranty but something else is going on besides the drum...
