There is also a bulb in the fender that is NOT an LED. I changed that and the mirror turn signals with these and not turn signal hyper flashing with with either the hazards or turn signals.

Isn't it the same as using a swiffer duster? I read that the California Duster has some sort of oil on the fibers. We have a spell here in TN with pollen. In the spring I can dust the truck 3 times a day, even if kept in the garage and the swiffer works great.
We ordered 2 (Lectric) folding bikes but have not received them as of yet. Anyone have them or know if they fit inside of the truck with the rear seat up. I'm hoping I can fit 2 in the back instead of the bed. I know they ift in a full size pickup but not the mid size Ranger.
Would this not be easier to install an inertia Brake system on the trailer itself??

Don't understand how some can start a thread like this, being an important topic, then never update us. Ask for help then leave us out in the cold.
OP, please update us.
If someone wants to purposely half kill their battery for this, go for it. Me not doing it.
If the computer needs to shut down part of the system to conserve power, and kills the program to keep in tow mode, how is no shutting down everything not doing the same thing. Overthinking things I think.
If you think it has to take measures to conserve power, why would it not be the same as disconnected the battery all together. That disconnects everything.
If anything, it puts my mind at ease.
Thanks for correcting my mistake.
Also, it seems the ones that had the tranny issue's were 2019's (unless I missed some)
OOp's
After your last post I retried it to see if it still rolls and that is when I (as you did) realize that the terminal I removed off the positive side was incorrect.
I re-tested it by putting in tow mode, removing the NEGATIVE terminal making sure everything was shut down. (YES) I should...
Just a few minutes. I opened the door (after reconnected) with truck off I heard the door chime as usual in tow mode and the dash states it was in tow mode still.
I did not roll truck while disconnected.
I usually get 7-8 MPG with my class C when I pulled my Jeep Wrangler.
I went on a 200 mile trip pulling the Ranger with the tire pressure at the suggested (on door panel) 32 pounds I got 6 mpg.
I then took another 200 mile trip and set the first leg at 40 the ride was still very nice and soft...
All the talk of the truck dropping out of (neutral To Mode) when the battery dies down from towing (which I don't believe happening).
I put my 2021 ranger in neutral mode shut truck off, then disconnected the + battery terminal. Reinstalled it and it was still in neutral tow mode. So I believe...
Looks good, just watch out for those driveways off main roads that have a dip before you get in. I have a Class C and tow the Ranger. Bottomed out a few weeks ago. No damage just scary hearing it scrap. Gotta go on more of an angle and not straight in next time. . Have a great time.
I'm not able to do it now, but why does someone try putting truck in tow mode then disconnect the battery cable for a few, then reattach it and see if truck stays in tow mode. All this 12 power issue may not be needed. ( MHO, I don't think it is)
