So, my technician buddy and I crawled under at break. Dark gear oil leaking. All over the undercarriage. It is burnt and nasty. ?

From what the write up said it was "coming from the front pinion area." The housing is supposedly damaged as well. I was told the diff comes as a complete unit. Not sure the if the pinion is out whack and it is possibly grinding on the ring gear or housing/bearings.

Update 1/5 #2 Electric Boogaloo Tried calling the part's department at the dealer to circumvent the service department and magically got connected to the service department. So the word is the differential is backordered. No ETA. Truck sounds like a cement mixer. I'm waiting for their service...

On the MBRP systems the exhaust splits from 3" to dual 2.5" just before the spare tire. But yeah, 4" on 2.5" is not that big of jump. I had 4.5" or something on my Mustang GT off of 2.5" axle backs. They were double wall resonated tips though.

I personally like the 4" tips. They are far from diesel sized. At least around here. All of the diesel bros run around with 12"+ tips it seems.
